NTB National Tire & Battery
The NTB location in Lilburn on Highway 78 is a RIPOFF!!! I purchased tires as a birthday present for my boyfriend, who also happens to be a Vet and former K-9 officer. The day before my purchase, they showed him the tires he wanted and the tires they said they would mount. The next day they mounted different tires and wanted to charge him over $100 to put his tires back on. Bait and switch. Deception. The tires are horribly out of balance and there is a HUGE vibration and they refuse to make it right!! How is NTB still in business???????

Votech Automotive
This shop is absolutely amazing! The best experience in the 15 years I've been here in GA. Very knowledgeable, fast service, courteous, great prices, and Vo even followed up with me regarding an issue I had with the cobb county Toyota dealership in Kennesaw. I will drive from Kennesaw to Lilburn to Votech for ALL of my major Car repairs and maintenance. ~Tierra Troupe

Classic Collision of Stone Mountain
The gentleman that I personally dealt with was very helpful and very responsive and always kept me informed on updates. I picked up my repaired vehicle today and it's looks as good as new. I will definitely recommend anyone needed this type of repair to use Classic Collision.

I feel like I've been had. I paid Brent over $300, still don't have a receipt for the work he did, my car is still in the same condition it was in before I paid him. I should've known that I needed to look elsewhere when he kept giving me the run around about coming to check out my car. He finally made time to come over and was two hours late. It was pouring raining so I went in the house while he did the repair. Honestly, I don't know whether or not he even did anything. After supposedly doing the repair, he told me that he couldn't accept cards right now. So I had to go to the ATM. What's the point of a mobile mechanic when you still have to leave your home to go get payment? When I drove the car, it was still making noise and I smelled oil. I told Brent that and he said I needed another part. He said he called around but no one had it. He said he would order it and come put it on for no charge. All I had to do was pay for the part. That was over a week ago. I cannot pin Brent down to get the part that put on. Hell, I can't even get a receipt for the "work" that he claimed he did. I have texted and called Brent several time to no avail. My car is getting worse by the day. I read CorrectAuto's reviews per Brent's request and hired him because they had a good reputation and offered a good warranty (12,000/12 months on labor). I couldn't gone elsewhere and got my car fixed properly the first time and at a time that is convenient for me, but I trusted Brent. At this point, I'm extremely disappointed.

Automotive Solutions
Automotive Solutions is honest and reasonable. He strives for excellence and wants you to be a repeat client. He is very upfront with you on what is wrong with your vehicle and is very easy to work with and most important, won't break the bank. In a world of dishonest people, it's very comforting having someone that you can trust that will not make you fix things that are unnecessary. He has not only gained our business but our entire family.

Autobahn Motors
Mercedes sold me a flood damaged car that had holes rusted through the floorboard. My whole foot could have gone through the floorboard. Very dangerous and Mercedes' lack of concern for human saftey is alarming. Furthermore the level of unprofessionalism displayed by Mercedes in handlong my title and regestration paperwork was unreal. Dozens of texts and phone calls to get my tag and title that took over 3 months to receive. SAVE YOUR SELF SOME MONEY AND TROUBLE, DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE.

J M Auto Repair
Trustworthy mechanics. My car need brakes pretty bad and I stopped by at closing time. They took time to look at my car and from what I hear from other people I got a extremely good price. Trustworthy and dependable.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
