Midas Auto Service Experts
They didn't put parking brake on or leave car in gear (it is manual) so it rolled and collided with another vehicle. They made appointment to REPLACE the bumper and said they would have rental for me to drive that day. I showed up to find a p.o.s. Chevy Volt that has Midas plastered all over it and stinks like cigarette smoke waiting for me. I refused to drive it so instead of getting me a rental the tech offered to drive me home and pick me up or drive our car home when it was fixed. Well I'm sorry, even if I wanted to get in a car with a strange man and also let Midas drive the car they just wrecked, I live 40 minutes away, so no. They should have arranged a rental. Also, they said they were replacing the bumper but now they are going to try to just fix it even though it has cuts in it (not just dented.

Brakes 4 Less
Needed brakes. Took my vehicle in and left it. Employee called to tell me it needed all four brakes done, plus alot of other parts. Almost $700. I asked for an explanation and he got angry and told me to come back and get my vehicle. I arrived in app. 15 minutes and my vehicle was still up on the rack with all four tires off. He said he then wanted to explain, but I told him when you tell off a customer, tell them to come back and get their car, then hang up on them, it's too late. He then hurried up. I took it to another local business and they repaired everything on the brakes, all four, plus installed a serpentine belt for $182 less than Brakes4Less quote. Be warned.... Don't waste your time or money. Support reputable local businesses. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would.

Tokyo Grill of Red Bank
This place is careless. I ordered miso soup and due to poor packaging the soup spilled in the bag and when I went to eat the whole thing popped open. The soup was scorching hot and burned my legs really bad. I told them and the manager said basicly we did good enough. Didnr ask if I was ok or nothing. Then spoke to the GM and they offered me a 10$ gift card. I burnt my legs! Because you package hot soup like you would extra sauce. Terrible. My legs are still red and raw. They do not care. Of was you or child. You would get a 10$ gift card and a Oh well. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Loftis Automotive
I have been taking my convertible there for about 4 years now. Heres the deal, with my experiences at least, since going here to Loftis' Automotive. The other day I had my girlfriends tires swapped to different rims, and took my sons escort zx2 there yesterday for an alignment. When leaving I thought if I were ever to write a review for somewhere, this place would be one for it. Again, Mr Loftis is really affordable! The man that owns it, Mr Loftis knows what he's doing. The other folks there must be good as well as I have Never had a bad repair or experience after taking my car there! I came home and wrote a review after thinking about all of the times this place has come through for me, like a dealership would NEVER do! I told my mom to take her car there if she ever needed to and she has been now for a while. I know for a fact she'll be taken care of. She'll he be satisfied! Even the cost. So anyway, thats a review from my experiences over the last 4 years going there.

Tips & Advices
Ceramic brake pads are made from dense, durable ceramic. They are favored for their relative silence while driving compared to metal or organic brake pads. They also have little wear and tear on the overall brake system and are very reliable. However, they are more expensive than metal or organic brake pads. Additionally, their performance deteriorates in extreme driving conditions.
Brake rotors typically last between 30,000 and 70,000 miles.
Brake shoes are used in drum brakes--rather than disc brakes--which is the original braking system designed for vehicles. Just as brake pads are the friction component of disc brakes, brake shoes are the friction component of drum brakes. When the brakes are applied, a wheel cylinder pushes the brake shoe against the brake drums, which spin while the vehicle is in motion, and causes the vehicle to stop.
A squeaking or squealing sound when applying newly replaced brakes is normal. It comes from the rotor vibrating against the new brake pads. It should quiet down after about 250 miles, and should be more or less silent by 750 miles, when the brake system has had some time to synchronize itself.
This depends on the car, the brake system, and the car owner's driving habits. Typically, a car's brakes should be replaced after about 50,000 miles, but some car's brakes may last anywhere from 25,000 to 70,000 miles. Car owners shouldn't wait for a magic number to replace their brakes. They should check them regularly, and pay close attention if they hear any weird noises or if the car feels shaky while braking. Brakes are a critical safety component of a car, so it's important to stay on top of brake maintenance.
