I was excited to see Tower of Power at Buster?s since my first Tower concert was a bit of a disappointment: I had seen them back in ?09 at Newlin Hall in Danville and could hear absolutely zero bass. Buster?s is a big place. Too bad the parking lot wasn?t because the lot was full when I arrived and they were asking people to park behind Rupp Arena. The line was wrapped around the building and the band didn?t take to the stage until 9:20, 50 minutes late. Unfortunately for the audience, rows of fold-up chairs separated by about five feet made for an inefficient use of space: the other 80% of the audience was forced back or to the sides, making viewing difficult. It was hot the entire night - at one point the singer referred to the lights as ""rotisserie lights."" I think getting started late and having to endure the temperature made Tower a little less than thrilled, but they put on a great show nonetheless.

We've been going to this bar regularly since it opened about 6 years ago. Eddie and Sammy manage the bar, and their wait staff is eager to please. It's nice to get mixed drinks in REAL glasses, and the pour is perfect. If you're not happy about something, they go out of their way to make it right. They have about 16 tables (not exact), including 4 coin tables (75 cents). You can play a casual game of pool, or you can get serious. The cues on the racks on the wall are in really good shape for a bar, the tips aren't broken off or warped. The food is awesome, try their steak tacos, delicious!! Drinks run about 4.50, beer about 2.50. Great selection of liquor. Also, they sell cues and pool accessories. Try it, you'll love it!!

I went with my husband to see what all of the ""to-do"" was about strip clubs. I had a blast! The girls enjoy seeing a female in the audience, and really show off what God gave them. For open-minded females, it is a fun and interesting night to say the least.

Since the bar has gone under NEW ownership many things have changed that have really caught my eye. The bar is a lot cleaner and more friendlier. With the new ownership it has forced them to cracked down on underage people. It seems like any night you are in there something new and exciting is going on. If you dont have Cats tickets you cant beat Two Keys Tavern. With a new High Def 3d projection screen, its by far the biggest around. This place is starting to become the bar is used to be! Two Keys just adds to the list of reasons why being a Cat is the greatest tradition around!! Congrats to the new owner and staff.

20.Comedy Off Broadway
161 Lexington Green Cir Ste C4
There are some improvements that could be made to COB, and if there were other comedy clubs in Lexington my rating might be a 3 instead of a 4. But overall Comedy Off Broadway is a great little place. It's better than several I've been to in other cities near and far. I can certainly appreciate the fact COB could slack knowing they have the market cornered when it comes to watching stand-up in a club setting; that even though the only other place to see *real* comedians is Singletary Center (though hopefully KY Theater and The Lyric will continue to add more stand-up as time moves forward--had great times at both places) the powers that be at COB don't seem to do anything but try to bring in the best acts possible. I applaud COB for this. I love live comedy and have a great time at Comedy Off Broadway. Yeah, if there are only two in your party you have to sit with strangers, and we've been stuck with ""that guy"" a time or two. That's okay. It's fun and worth the price of admission and a few drinks. It would be even *more* worth it if, as someone mentioned, both the clips and Scott Wilson's act were updated. I know we're not there specifically to see either, but come on. Prep us a little. We have a good sense of humor and don't ask for much! But the comedians are always funny, the drinks are usually strong and I nearly always enjoy the atmosphere, though if you go on a night when a majority of the crowd come from surrounding areas or you get the wrong local crowd it can be kind of a bummer. What I mean is I've gone a couple of times when the comedian was fantastic but the crowd was kind of dead/a downer and it was strange. Can't let that ruin the night, but it's definitely a crap shoot when you book your tickets. One other thing to COB owners: Get on Twitter and Facebook! I don't know what the current aversion is to either, but I promise when you come into the light you'll be glad you did.

I am a man and went in this bar to get a drink during a city-sponsored block party on Limestone and was groped by a man within 5 minutes of walking in the door. I was just trying to buy a drink. This is a nasty gay bar and you should stay away unless you like having a man grab your private parts. I was so shocked that I cannot believe I didn't leave a corpse in that bar. Do not go there ever unless you are a nasty, sleazy gay person.

This pub consistently offers the lowest quality experience to be seen in the area. The staff are rude, and push the highest cost items on you at every opportunity. The lowest part of the experience is clearly the crowd--if you're fine with dealing with the self-entitled Big Blue Mania types, this is the place to go. Otherwise, save the money and head to a better part of town.

Not a good country bar the music is a mix of rap style country and 7out of 10 women need a cattle car to be hauled in... Lol
24.Backstretch Bar And Grill
1784 Bryan Station Rd
Bar & GrillsBarsRestaurants
This bar used to be Charlie's Bar and Grill, and reopened as the Backstretch Bar and Grill the summer of 2010. A complete rehab of the interior gave it a fresh appearance. The air conditioning in the summer is a cool 70 degrees consistently. The kitchen serves a varied menu of grilled items.\r \r Karaoke is several nights a week and attracts a much older crowd. There is one pool table. Loud talking or laughter, salty language discouraged strongly. Seems to be a family-oriented bar and grill, with children coming in during the afternoons and evenings occasionally, as well as elderly folk.\r \r Conservative bar with an equestrian theme. Smoking in parking lot under canopy outside side door. If you like to laugh hard, drink hard, or play hard, this bar is probably not for you.
25.Sec Sports Pub
4379 Old Harrodsburg Rd
The server was very unprofessional, and the manager was hostle and extremely confrontational with out knowing the situation. Our party's bill was incorrectly charged and spilt up, and when we tried to get this corrected it was insinuated that #1 were too intoxicated to realize how much we were drinking and #2 that we were trying to be dishonest and skip out on the bill. The server snatched my friend's debit card out of her hand and before we could resolve this, charged the entire bill (over $200.00!) to it. When the manager came over, instead of hearing our concerns, he immediately became confrontational with my husband and assumed the two previous prejudices listed. After 45 minutes our bill was finally resolved, and while I realize that not everyone are honest people, it is very poor practice of business to assume that we all are thieves. Needless to say we won't be coming back.
