I called Nancy on a Saturday to let her know that my truck had just broke down on the freeway while I was hauling a loaded trailer. She was quick to get me taken care of and she was able to get my truck repaired very quickly. This is very important to me because this truck is used to transport hay and I don't have another truck to use when mine is down. Nancy understands my urgency and she does what she needs to do to get me taken care of very promptly. This is the second time that I have used them for repair work and they are awesome. My farm is 200 miles round trip from their shop so it isn't the closest place by any means to have my truck worked on. I was referred to this shop by another individual and the reason I drive that far is that they have treated me very fair and I feel that they are very honest with me which is very important to me. I previously used another Diesel repair shop in Frisco and had an unbelievably terrible experience. Nancy keeps me informed and lets me know what I need to have done. People ask me why I drive that far to get the truck worked on since there are other repair shops around. I tell everyone that the reason that I drive all of the way to Lewisville from East Texas to have my truck worked on is simply there is no other place like North Texas Diesel, Automotive and Performance!! If you are not using this company for repair work than this is your loss!!

NTX diesel in Lewisville has done me good everytime. I have had horrible experiences with mechanics misdiagnosing and over charging me. I took my 6.0 powerstroke to another guy in Lewisville and he told me that he could not diagnose the problem but happened to find $4300 of other work that I need done....UHH what??? So my friend refers me to NTX and they fix my 6.0 for $350. The ICP sensor was bad. Quick fix and had my truck back in a day. They know their stuff and Nancy is an awesome person to work with. She runs a good shop up there and all the mechanics are very knowledgeable. Anybody who owns a diesel truck knows how important it is to have a good mechanic work on your truck. I recently purchased a used 2008 and had NTX do all the minor repairs that were necessary. I will always take my trucks here regardless of where I live in the DFW metroplex. Thats how good they are!!!!

This North Texas Automotive Shop is of high quality work and Up and Beyond customer Service! I'm a College student with not a lot of money, but they were able to help me diagnose what was wrong with my truck and repair it at a affordable price for me! They saved me money for fuel, parts and tow truck expenses, which I spent a great deal on trying to commute to work and back and it just didn't work out... I called up there to schedule an appointment and I also asked Nancy, what would be wrong with my truck after I described the symptoms it was having. They gave me the answer and it turns out they were 100% positive it was what they said it was, which was my sensor going out, they replaced it and now I have my Daily Driver back to tip top shape. Thank you North Texas Diesel for a great experience! I'll definitely be back to get my truck worked on if anything else happens.

As a deaf person this place is overwhelmingly welcome I came in the other day barley even gestured the idea I was hard of hearing the person at the desk sprung up enthusiastically to greet me with pen and paper in hand not quick to use it but ready to understand the needs of my vehicle came outside with me and addressed my concerns in a very professional manner I observed him dealing with other individuals that he obviously did not speak there language but took the same time and courtesy as he did with me even brought in an I pad in fear his writing too poor on my follow up visit and dealt me the best price I have found on service in town highly recommend this place they even have 60$ synthetic oil changes with mobile one Ive previously paid upwards of 89$! at other locals

National Dent Direct
A couple of weeks ago we had a hail storm that damage to 2 of my personal vehicles. The 1st vechicle had multiple dents and a broken rear windshield. The second had multiple dents. I contacted National Dent Direct , which was referred by a previous customer. They came to my home picked up one vechicle at a time and swapped them out when one was finished. I was offered a rental but already had one through insurance. The whole process was stress free and the only involvement I personally had was being home for them to pick up vechicle and being home to accept the return of my vechicle. Pick up and drop off times were done at my convience. I didn't think service like this still existed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks again Jason

Brian's Automotive Repair
Brian is the most honest mechanic you can find. I have taken every vehicle my family has owned in the last 13 years to him. There were a couple of times when I was worried about brakes and oil leakage on 2 different vehicles. The fixes were so easy and he charged me almost nothing. The couple of others he repaired were very reasonable price wise and he gave me a thorough explanation of what was happening. The charge was nothing when I thought something was wrong with the a/c. I believe it was just a fuse as he told me and charged me nothing. He could've had a few hundred bucks. My father in law (retired police officer) told me about him over a decade ago. Enough said. Trust Brians Automotive for your repairs.

Transmission Discounters
I found Transmission Discounters shortly after moving to Texas. Initially, I needed A/C work done on my car, and Transmission Discounters was the best quote. I decided to give them a try and was so impressed with the quality of their work and their excellent customer service that I have chosen to use no other mechanic but them. In addition to the A/C repair, they have done transmission and electrical repairs for me at very reasonable cost without sacrificing any quality of repair. Rick and his staff take the time to explain any issues and repairs needed before doing any work, something I greatly appreciate. I confidently refer everyone I know to this shop and will continue to do so.

Best ever. Dealer wanted $8700 to "fix" everyting on my 2004 F250. Just for EGR and oil cooler the dealer wanted $2900. North Tex Diesel quoted $1350 for the egr cooler(Bulletproof egr cooler too, much better than OEM) and the oil cooler, installed. I ended up getting everything fixed for $2600. It has been 6 months since repaired and everything has been perfect. Truck runs better than any time I've owned it. This is the best shop in N Tex in my opinion.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
