VIP Tires and Service
I took my car there to have the water pump replaced. They are way too expensive with the mechanics courtesy discount and they didn't get my car done in a whole day of having it. It's about a 5 hour job and supposedly they were working on it since noon and when I called a little after 5 PM it hadn't been put back together. I felt like they didn't see me as a paying customer since my boyfriend is a mechanic a supposedly gets a professional discount. I have two jobs and had to juggle them today but now I have to juggle them again tomorrow since my car is not finished. They said it would be done as soon as possible in the morning and I told them I will pay full price and I don't need any favors in the name of my boyfriend. I need my car fixed in a timely manner and I will never take my car to them again.

VIP Tires and Service
I went in for a sticker and they and thought their quote for installing a muffler ($500) was too high, so I went to Meineke got the work done ($200) and went back for the sticker, they re - inspected my vehicle and came up with a $1360 quote for additional work that needed to be done. I went to another Service Garage and got my sticker for $206Just their Environmental Fees, Shop Fees, Fluid Disposal Fee and Sales Tax came to almost $206. I'll never go back to VIP again.

Clavet Import Auto Service
I have bought both my kids and my wife a car here. They even service them after we bought them. We have never had any issues with the vehicles that we purchased and the service is reliable. Brian is a great technician and can diagnose any issues. We are looking to buy my other daughter a car and this is where we will go!

Clavet Import Auto Service
Brian took care of my VW for a number of years. Always professional, always top notch work. Repairs are done right the first time, I never had to go back for anything. And.. A great value. If you want top quality work at a very reasonable price, this is the place to do business. They can take care of all your service needs from routine maintenance to major repairs

VIP Tires and Service
I'm giving 2 stars because management eventually refunded my money, but otherwise they'd get only 1. They didn't fix the problem I brought my vehicle in for, and when I took it to another garage I found out they'd also never actually done the alignment I was charged for. I will never bring another vehicle there for service- I need a shop I can trust.
Tips & Advices
Many companies, both local and nationwide, specialize in automotive glass repair and replacements. Drivers should contact their insurance companies to find glass or auto repair shops in their network.
Windshield damage from anything other than a vehicle collision (including vandalism, storms, fires, and animals) is often covered by optional comprehensive coverage. Drivers should keep in mind that some plans only cover the side and back windows but not the front windshield. Without coverage, drivers must pay the entire cost of repairs or replacements.
Small windshield repairs can be finished in 30 minutes, while windshield replacements take about an hour.
The adhesives used in windshields need at least one hour to cure, so drivers must wait before getting back on the road.  Similarly, drivers should wait at least 24 hours after a windshield repair or replacement before washing their cars. The water and chemicals in the soap can weaken the adhesive. Because of the additional pressure involved, drivers should wait three days after repairs or replacements before going through an automated car wash.
Replacing a windshield costs between $150 and $300 on average.
