Red Pine Construction
Very disappointed with Red Pine Construction in Lehi Utah and their employees. Very unprofessional! Stay away from this business or you will be disappointed as well!

You be the judge! Say you were hired only two days before the death of your Brother, and attendance lacks a bit, as does performance because you are grieving horribly. You are only 19 days into being employed and they drop the ball and fire you. No verbal warning, no written warning...Nothing! UNBELIEVABLE! This is the most heartless Company I've ever known. As a business owner myself, I would have given this person some time off to heal or at least written them up as a final warning that things need to change. Disgusting!

Fox Concrete
We had them pour an RV pad on the side of our house that needed to be thick because our lot is a bit higher than the one next to us and there will be a fence between the two. We talked about this issue with them multiple times before it was poured and they assured us they were aware and would do it right. The day they came to pour it we were out of town and were not able to be there to make sure it was done right and it was not poured down to grade. Now we are left with a pad that is only poured halfway down and road base is falling out of the edge into our neighbors yard. The pad will crack on the edges as soon as anything is parked on top of it and we are having to pay DOUBLE the amount of the pad just to have it fixed. Of course we tried talking to the company and they are unwilling to fix it.
Tips & Advices
Resurfacing, where a contractor removes and replaces the top layer of concrete, is a middle ground between multiple patch jobs and a complete replacement.
Homeowners should work with a concrete contractor who is either certified by or a member of one or more trade organizations for high-quality results. These individuals adhere to professional guidelines and are versed in industry and safety standards. Such organizations include: American Concrete Institute (ACI) American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA).

Wet concrete can irritate the skin or cause first-, second-, or third-degree chemical burns. Cement dust contains silica, which damages the lungs and can lead to cancer or silicosis. Many concrete mixtures contain cement, so homeowners should be careful if contractors create the concrete on site. Anyone who touches wet concrete or dust should wash their skin with soap and cold water.
Colored concrete is created by blending liquid, granular or powdered iron oxide pigments with natural concrete. These pigments are either mined directly from the earth or manufactured in a chemical plant.
