Dr. Garcia is wonderful. He took over Dr. Nelson's practice last year and pleasantly surprised me. My family went to Dr. Nelson for over 20 years. Dr Garcia has helped me with my fear of dentists and is truly a gentle dentist in both his bedside manner and the way he numbs you prior to the shot. He tells you this may hurt a little when necessary so you can be prepared. His staff is top rate. Another thing I like is that he does root canals in his office and is up to date on the latest dental technology. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia.

I recently visited Dr. Chung and found him to be an extremely competent dentist. He has both the knowledge and the technology which resulted in a very positive experience. He spend a generous amount of time with me and explained the procedures he would be using, and provided me with a detailed explanation of the cost. The office is bright and professional looking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Chung to anyone in need of any and all dental services. Ken T.

I'm compelled to enter the Frey of negativism surrounding a quality dental practice that -if anything, is forthright and honest in its approach to good dental hygiene and satisfactory result. Yes the practice is high tech, yes it employs good time management to reduce patient backlogging in its clean, comfortable waiting room

Excellent dentist. Both Glenn and now his son Cary who is taking over the practice. The practice has a small town feel and charm with all the conveniences and desired services found in their modern equipment. I've been a patient for 22 years and I highly recommend you use them.

Really great Dentist. So sad i have to find another in-network provider for my dental needs...since they don't accept Nationwide Life Insurance dental plan. New plan and can't seem to find a link to providers...hmmm???

I brought four very active children in, all needing checkups at the end of a workday. The staff and dental professionals were so patient and playful with all of us. Easiest dental appointment we've ever had.

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
