Leesburg Transmission & Total Auto Care
I took my '05 Ford Focus ZXW in for a mysterious electrical problem that I had already taken to another local service shop 4 times, and they were unable to figure it out. The car would surge and cut out. I stopped at Leesburg Transmissions on Saturday noon before Labor Day and even though they were closed, Bruce (the owner) had Rafael (one of their service techs) hook it up to the computer and check it out. I had them work on it the following Tuesday, and David (service mgr) & Rafael were able to diagnose the problem and fix it quickly at a VERY reasonable price. David even called me a week later to make sure everything was OK with it.They provide excellent and friendly service at a reasonable price with honesty and integrity. I previously took my car there for a transmission problem, and had the same good experience with them at that time. They did the repairs promptly and as inexpensively as they could. I highly recommend them and would definitely take my car to them again.

CECIL CLARK CHEVROLET
Joseph Clark of Cecil Clark Chevrolet is the real deal!! It would have been a 3-hour drive for me to drive there and purchase the Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I was having a busy day at work in West Palm Beach, and Joseph not only offered me more on my trade in than any dealer nearby, but he also was willing to give me the best price on the new Tahoe of anybody I contacted, and as if that was not enough, he offered to drive the car to West Palm Beach, do the paperwork in my office and take my trade back to Leesburg - and save ME the 3 hours of driving. Wow!! Can you say impressive? Every question answered, timely, called me early in the morning from home when I sent my email. Just Right On Top Of Every Little Detail from the very start!! I am so impressed. My next Chevrolet will come from Cecil Clark in Leesburg - and I won't waste much time dealer shopping in my neighborhood.

In response to Timmy back in 10/29/13 We don't know who you are and we feel it is wrong for you to post this against us with out giving us a chance to right your wrong . We are all the time sending our techs to school and getting them all the current information so they can repair the cars they are working on so we don't know why you would say "poor workmanship and lack of knowledge." We had a manager quit so we had to hire a new one. we were lucky to get a manager that has been working in the Leesburg area for many years, Mike, he was still in training at that time we did hire one more tech. as a service to our customers that helps get your car back to you asap

Michael knew what features I wanted in a car and he called me and said "your car just came in" and it was indeed the perfect car for me--exactly what I wanted. The buying process was easy and he did a great job showing me how everything works. I really love my car!

Leesburg Transmission & Total Auto Care
Honest, friendly service. I would recommend them to anyone needing service on their vehicle. Gives me peace of mind knowing there are still honest businesses out there
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
