Camp Bow Wow
I would rate at a one star, but there are a few VERY friendly young people that have taken great care of my dogs and this review of horrible service, should not overshadow how kind they have been to my FOUR dogs. I have been to several Camp Bow Wows in other states and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, welcomes the dogs and they seem to genuinely care about my babies. However, the manager of this location is rude, seems put out each time I have called, and quite frankly seems to really hate her job. I spend an incredible amount of money for daycare and boarding, however this place will no longer get my business or referrals!

Pete & Mac's Pet Resort
Staff are always courteous & helpfull! Facility is clean and without odor. Cashew just adores Jackie, as she is always happy to go! I ask her (Cashew) if she wants to go see Jackie & she happily starts barking & turning in circles lolWould like to get her groomed more often, but price hinders this at times :-( Most importantly, I can tell that Cashew is well treated while in their care by the way she acts afterwards. Looking forward to seeing our friends @ PnM's soon

Pete & Mac's Pet Resort
Staff is so kind and helpful. Facility was immaculate. We were able to easily get our dogs in for grooming and day care. Great prices. Both of my dogs had a great time.
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
