Environmental Pest Control
We called Environmental for a tenant who had roaches. While spraying, the employee saw termites. I had seen damage from what I thought might be termites before, so I had no doubt that there were, indeed termites. Being that it was a mobile home, I honestly didn't think termites could infiltrate the dwelling, but I was wrong. I found out that Environmental Pest Control has a meeting each morning where employees report things, such as finding termites, so they can discuss a plan of treatment. That caused me to trust this company even more! They are very thorough and make certain that their clients/customers get the most comprehensive pest control possible. They were also less expensive than other companies I had called to take care of the first problem: roaches. Environmental charged less for two treatments for roaches than other companies wanted for just the first treatment! I've found a pest control business that I will use for home as well as twelve rental properties I own. Thank you, Environmental!

They are so disorganized. I've waited and waited for someone to show up and they never did. John does a good job. He makes sure he sprays everywhere and uses bait. The other techs are jerks and are inefficient. One tech misted my house and left the front door open and I didn't know til I let my dogs in 2 hours later and they ran out of the house. Called finally got another tech to go out was there 5 minutes! They don't have any guarantee like their commercials say. I've had a tech out every two weeks for two months. still have roaches crawling everywhere! Don't waste your money. If you are lucky enough to get john every time you have a chance but they are still a horrible company.

Environmental Pest Control
We had never had an issue before but when we retrieved some furniture and brought it home, we unknowingly brought back german roaches. We tried for a month to get rid of them and it seemed like they came back with more. The tech who came out told us the cycle and how fast they populate...WOW! He talked with us a little more about them & told us how the stuff his company used worked, some basic do's & don'ts. Anyhow, from the time it took him to do the job & get ready to leave, there was already a difference. I couldn't believe how many were actually hiding in our home. After a week I didn't see anymore and the stuff he used was good for 6 months. Plus with the deal I got I received 2 follow up visits to ensure that the problem wouldn't come back. Here's a clue... if you see even 1 roach in your home, just expect 20 and by the following week expect 80! Yeah they breed weekly & can have 10-14 at a time! June 2015 sorry so late on the review

I would shop around for better service. Had set up an appointment for someone to come out and give us a free estimate on a bug problem. They gave us an approximate time...well that time came cand passed and when we called back to make sure they were coming out they were surprised like "oh, you still wanted us to come out?" Why else would i have called? When the guy got here late, i gave a small breif and he didnt even check the area i was concerned with, in fact when he did check, he pointed to a piece of fuzz and was like "yep, see? There is one." He was more concerned with what looked like a "termite" problem outside....something we had not called him out for just to tack on additional charges. I really would reccomend shopping around first before choosing them. I know its a free estimate but i was hoping for a professional....not someone that acted like it was a waste of his time.
Tips & Advices
Baits can be effective in situations where you're dealing with a relatively small number of pests. But in cases where there is a full infestation, pest control sprays usually provide a quicker and more thorough solution. Keep in mind, though, that sprays can be toxic to both humans and the environment. In many cases, baiting can be a safer and less hazardous choice.
Yes, many commercial pest control companies offer green products. Certain pest control chemicals can be harmful to both humans and the environment. Some commercial pest control companies use eco-friendly, biodegradable options to keep pests in check, with active ingredients such as mint, rosemary, thyme, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth.
In many cases, pest control methods used in commercial and residential environments are the same, but there may be differences in the way these methods are implemented. For example, both residential and commercial pest control may incorporate pest exclusion, which aims to keep pests out by sealing and securing a building's access points. Since many commercial facilities cover much more space than the typical residence, implementation of this approach would be different.
Commercial pest control differs from residential in the amount of care required. Because many commercial facilities are much larger than the typical home or apartment, commercial pest control often entails more frequent service. While residential pest control usually requires monthly or quarterly service, commercial pest control may take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Certain pests are common in commercial settings. Rats and mice plague many businesses of all types. In addition to carrying diseases, such as tuberculosis and salmonella, rodents can cause costly damage by gnawing into pipe work and electrical wires. Bed bugs are a growing nuisance. These pests may be found in hotels and student accommodations, and they can even infest office furniture. Flies are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and food factories.
