Preferred Women's Healthcare
Stay away. Far far away. I had a bad experience here on numerous occasions and finally decided I had enough! Dr. Hart has no bedside manner or compassion. Nor will she take the time to explain things to you if asked twice. She gave me the wrong diagnosis and nearly scared me to death. I left the office confused and in tears and basically did all the research myself on the subject online. She was very delayed in calling me back with some results I was waiting on. After I complained to an office manager, another doctor called me and explained that she didn't agree with Dr.Hart's findings. I was thankful to the other doctor but confused and angry with why I was told the wrong information. In addition, wait times are pretty long, they bill you in the office before they even mail the bill to you, and I overheard that they lost another patient's file... causing her to wait for a longer time than usual. I personally do not like the L&D at Gwinnett Hospital. But that's a different story... Gwinnett Hospital needs its own 2 star review.

Preferred Women's Healthcare
WOW in all Caps!! Ladies Listen, I just had an appointment today and made it my duty to come straight home and write a review. I made an appointment a couple of weeks ago, printed out the patient forms, and in I went. I sat in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes and was greeted so nice by ALL staff members. This is VERY important to me as I'm a Nurse and manner's matter. I saw Dr. Dickerson and was amazed how well everything went. Very gentle person who sat and actually listened to what I had to say, DID NOT rush me as I spoke long and hard about my past experience and my concerns. The 1st thing he said when he walked in the door was. "I believe WE can help you"....... I was so nervous as it had been over a year since being seen by anyone I trusted. Having past OB issues, not to mention High Risk! This was my 1st time going and I will for sure reschedule again! This place ranks more than a 5 in my book. I hope and Pray this helps someone else :)

Preferred Women's Healthcare
I have found the most wonderful Gynecologist and caring office staff at Preferred Women's Healthcare in Lawrenceville, GA. Dr. Arona is knowledgeable, helpful, up-to-date on the latest GYN issues, and has a wonderful personality. She treats you like a friend and wants to help you to be healthy and happy. I found her by luck, after trying many Gynecologists over the years, which treated me like just a number. She asks questions and helps to find an appropriate resolution to problems or concerns without sounding condescending. And she lets you ask questions and she answers them! Her staff is amazing, also. They are always smiling, helpful, kind and willing to go the extra mile for patients! If I could clone them and put them in every doctor's office I need to go to, I certainly would. They truly care and value their patients! I strongly recommend Dr. Arona and her staff to anyone looking for an amazing doctor and an amazing staff.

Felt obligated to write this review. I've seen many drs. as I am a hypochondriac. That being said, I could care less about reviews or other people's opinions about physicians. If I do not vibe with them, it is over! Dr. Miller impressed me from the moment I met her. She is VERY THOROUGH! She is my GYN and I recently decided to try her medical weight loss. I have lost 30 pounds in 3 months and my son has lost 40 pounds in 3 months! Dr. Miller is so thorough that she diagnosed my high blood pressure. Even after my regular physician told me all I had was "white coat"! Dr. Miller said she did not care what the doc said, she knew it was hypertension! I went to another doc, got a second opinion and was diagnosed with hypertension. The person who received a pap smear during her menstrual had a bad experience. However, I think she should give Dr. Miller another try, she is AMAZING!!!!!!

Krishnan, Indran B MD
This is a prefect place for colon cancer polyp check up. I had two colonoscopies in the past and the experience was miserable. I had to go to hospital to get another xay to see the colon as the other doctor could not go through all the way. This time I went to Dr Krishnan referred by my co worker. He not only was able to go through all the way to see the entire colon but removed cancerous polyps too. No pain. I went back to work on the following day. He asked me come back in 3 years. //Liza Mitchell

My first visit was awesome, quick, and I was very impressed. However, every time I needed to speak to a doctor/nurse after that, I felt like I was getting the run around. All I needed was for a doctor to call in a refill for my birth control and it was like pulling teeth. Good for original visit, beware if you need to be seen here on a regular basis. People are nice and they will get you in and out...IF they will even return your call.

Jaiyesinmi, Ganiat M, MD
I have been a patient of Dr. Jaiyesinmi's since moving to Georgia (6) years ago and I can honestly say that she is the most understanding, compassionate, caring, insightful and intuitive mental health professional that I've ever known. I rate her and her entire staff a solid 5 stars for professionalism, approachability, compassion, conflict resolution and crisis intervention.

I have gone to Dr Scott for close to 20 years . She is very through and sensitive to your needs.I have always used her as my physical because there is hardly a stone left not turned! I trusted her with my daughters 1st pap, which says a lot. My only problem was with the lab tec not informing me of what medicare will not pay. Dr Scott Miller herself is wonderful!

Great experience, top to bottom. Professional, knowledgeable and attentive staff. I was seen on time! Extremely impressed with Doctor - patient, understanding & obviously, very much on top of his craft. If I need a dermatologist again, it will definitely be the Center For Dermatology in Lawrenceville.
Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
