SUVs & Trucks R Us
Follow up on my Jeep Wagoneer that has been reworked ....and I mean reworked! Engine rebuild, rewiring of harness, all hoses, belts, electrical parts like starter and generator, transmission cooler, power windows and door locks replaced, and the list goes on. Took some time, believe me, because I said no rush. Should be like a new Jeep....time to hit the mountains!

Bacas National Transmission & Differential LLC
One of the last two honest mechanics left in Vegas. I've trusted several cars to them over the last few years, as well have my friends. They're always fair and have never taken advantage. More than once I have had them return a car to me, without charge for unnecessary work, when I feared something had gone wrong. I also had a friend bring his truck back after the trans case cracked, and they replaced... for free... under warranty... without question. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE GUYS!!!

Beetle Barn
I dropped my car off March 2017 for an estimate. After 3 months I stopped in the business and asked if something was wrong due to never receiving any communication about my car estimate. At this time I was told they were busy. After a month more passed I drove in to get an update. The business was gone and my car was gone. I never received any communication about my car or the business moving I had already given bettlebarn my email and phone number. I called July 2017 and asked about my car. A week later I received an incomplete estimate with missing repairs that had been discussed twice. I decided to pick up my car. When I go to the new location I was told I couldn't pick up my car, and it was unknown when i could pick it up that it was in storage. Maybe possibly a couple days. So it took 4 months to receive an estimate, I'm being charged for the estimate, I can't pick up my car until they say when, I was told that the car is there's now! I'm a retired military veteran and a retired police officer I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a business! My advice don't trust the BettleBarn!

Terrible experience, bought off ebay, sent the bumper with ups freight, will not deliver without a signature, they refuse to change the shipping details so ups can deliver, they have my money for the bumper and the money fro the shipping, its been a month, no response to my messages, i dont have the bumper and i have been scammed out of $500 - think about it - do you want to be treated this way?? Perhaps you should buy some place else!!!!

Raphael seemed to be very patient. He didn't turn me away when I asked to look at other vehicles after I had already chosen the one I wanted. He was great. Promote him!!
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
