When I was at sportsmans I would visit longhorn a lot. The place was nice and friendly. The only thing that got me was how smokey it was. Thats why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars for cleaness. Food was always good!

Lovely hotel and casino but it really needs a bit of sprucing up. It wouldn't hurt to change a worn out carpet or two. Still very nice but there are plenty of luxury options in Vegas.

When in Vegas, do the signature cocktail, and in this case it was the margarita. The green chile burger was a little messy, but delicious nonetheless. I also snagged a bite of the chicken and sweet potato hash, which was perfectly sweet and spicy. Definitely would recommend this place.

The Golden Nuget's largest pool features a giant shark aquarium as it's centerpiece. Guests can ride a very smooth 3-story water slide through the center of the tank, landing in the pool. There are areas to sunbathe, relax near the waterfall, enjoy the jacuzzi, play black jack and enjoy the atmosphere

I was in Vegas with one of my friends for his cousin's 21st birthday and he really wanted to hit up some of the clubs. I had been to Vegas twice before but never went to the clubs because I find them to be dull and overpriced. Knowing I would have to go to the club with my friend and his cousin, I did some research and looked around for deals beforehand. I eventually found a website called www.vegashotspots. com and booked a package that took us to Tao, Jet and Revolution Lounge and then to the Sapphire strip club later on. What a great find by me! The clubs were all cool and we paid substantially less than what the clubs would have charged us. The best place was Jet. The girls there were all smoking hot and there were plenty of them. Whether it was the waitresses, bartenders or the girls dancing, every girl seemed to be a ""9"" or ""10 "". The service was great and the music was good (and I normally don't like club music). A few tables away from us was Reggie Bush and his smoking hot girlfriend from that reality show. That was cool to see too. Overall, I give JET a big ""thumbs up"" and I'm not really a club guy!

This is one of the best places I have stayed at in the surronding Vegas area, away from the crowds of the strip. Parking is free and I was able to pull right up to my room. My room was large and had 2 queen beds and they only charge for the room and not the amount of people in the room! Awesome! Also they provided free local calls, and free wi-fi. What was the best was the restaurant was steps from my hotel room and the casino which is open 24 hours a day. The bartenders were friendly and fast, restaurant had great food and really cheap with good amounts of food. I will recommend this place to all my truck driver co-workers and friends and family. Front Desk Clerks were fast and very knowledgable in the area and letting me know what was available to see with a little cost.

I had the steak special with the 20 ounce beer and it was excellent! You'll need a players card for the $9.99 deal and they'll give you another $2 off when you play at least a $5 bet. They are usually very crowded but the wait is worth it!

The hotel seems new but the hotel room is not too up to date. They are still using old fashion light bulbs which generates heat especially in the bathroom. The room is dark and the air conditioner is noisy. The bathroom is very small compare to many Las Vegas hotels in the strip. The restaurants are ok. There is midnight snacks which starts from $0.99. That is a great deal for late night mingle with friends and not to spend too much money. The buffet is decent. The parking is great. I can always find parking on the first level. The attached Pro Bass Shop is great for shopping and spending time.

My friend and I went to the Double Down on a quest for a Vegas ""dive bar"" experience. We are your average 30 something white collar housewives - and we had a great time. The clientele in there would be scary by stereotype, but as I have found through my years of dive bar experiences, the most friendly people to be found are ""bikers"". We talked with the other patrons and really enjoyed their signature drink called a** juice. The bathrooms are really something to see. We walked from the Double Down to the Hard Rock Casino, and I don't remember it being very far or a dangerous walk.
30.Tropicana Las Vegas

review for Tropicana's Mob Experience Attraction oh man do i have a huuuuge obsession/fixation with the mob and the mafia-like it's so not okay...so when I heard about this attraction at the Tropicana, I knew that I had to experience it on my next trip to Vegas. It's interactive and pretty educational. You walk through the attraction and essentially run with the mob. At the end, it's your response that determines your fate. The actors were really good and held character very well, even with my friend and I cracking up the whole time trying to be serious with them. Try to go with a local (they get discounts) or find a deal if you don't want to pay the full entrance fee. The very end of the attraction has rooms upon rooms of information and history about all of the key mobsters, hotels, and endeavors that led to Vegas being what it is today.
