When i went to compassionate care for women for my prenatal care i felt very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and very nice and the Dr.richet is a very nice person and makes sure you know everything you need to know about your pregnancy. The only complaint i have is that doctor richeterhas another office in pahrump and is gone two weeks out of every month and you have to see the other doctor, i just wasn't comfortable seeing the other doctor but it only happened a couple time so it wasn't that bad.I ended up having a c-section and i wasn't even scared because dr.richter made me very comfortable and explained everything and made sure i knew what was going on at all times. So i highly recommend compassionate care for women for your care while your pregnant.

I had been on a plane for 3 hours in severe pain valley hospital was the first hospital that was in route. I went thru the emergency department and was treated right away. I was taken into the emergency room department and they started treating me right away. The doctor was awsome and caring . The Nurses were awsome and so helpful. I have taken my husband to most of the hospitals in this valley and they did not even compare to the treatment i recieved when i went to valley hospital. I am so glad that this was the hospital i stopped at. I recommend Valley Hospital to everyone i know. The staff from the check in clerk to the check out clerk were the best. Thank you Valley for such a great experience. Especially when you dont feel good.

When my first child was born I quickly became unhappy with her pediatrician, who turned out to be a novice, and even more so with his rude staff. Dr. Robertson was suggested by a couple of different families we know so we gave him a try; it has been 4 years and couldn't be happier with the quality of care our children have received. Our 2nd, as an infant, developed a fever over a weekend and they told us at urgent care that it was just a virus. Took her into Dr. R on Monday and he literally saved her life by identifying the issue immediately as a UTI and taking the proper actions so the infection didn't spread and develop into meningitis. Dr. Robertson is compassionate and very knowledgeable, sometimes can be very straight and to the point when he's really busy which can turn some people off. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful, but you do have a couple that just seem like they're miserable people (what IS it with medical office staff???!!!) but fortunately you don't have to interact with them very much. The wait is gonna be just like anything else - if it's sick season they are slammed and you're going to wait. If it's summer time, you can usually get in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time. I also like that they have walk-in hours, and even outside of that they're usually pretty good about getting you in the same day, or next, if you have an issue.

I really like the doctors. Dr. Scarff has been wonderful and is willing to answer any question I have. I have delivered 2 children with them. Dr. Scarff wasn't on call for when I delivered, however he came in for my first birth because the baby was in distress. He assisted Dr. Glassman. With my second, he explained why he wasn't able to come in. and this time Dr. Kramer delivered my second. I have never nurses are wonderful and helpful. The office staff is mediocare. I really like Dr. Scarff and am afraid of looking for a new Dr. if I move away.

She saved my babies life with an emergency c-section and continued to follow up with me after the delivery. She took time after hours to call and check up on myself and the baby. I feel the Dr.'s that work for Southwest Medical are in a very tight perdictament because they have to see so many patient's in a day that I feel that they don't give their all to each patient...if your not dying they get you in and out as quickly as possible, and I feel you they don't have time to really listen to you. You just feel like a number. Dr.'s that work under the umbrella of S.W. Medical that are in private practice do care about their patient's. But S.W. Medical try their hardest to push you into seeing their Dr.'s.

Unfortunately, this was my doctor for the duration of my pregnancy with my first son. Dr. Gex was always 45 minutes to 1 hour late, which would have been ok if he actually took the time to answer my questions. I asked him about caffeine during pregnancy and he said THERE HAVE BEEN NO STUDIES ON HOW CAFFEINE AFFECTS PREGNANCY... really? No studies at all??? Anyway, the only thing he spent any great length of time discussing with me was about getting induced if my baby didn't come before the day of my due date. As it turned out he did have me induced and it was a HORRIBLE experience. I was asked to speak to my doctors for HOURS but the nurses told me he was unavailable. He conveniently showed up about 10 minutes before the baby was born at 3:30 on a monday afternoon and I'm sure he was home by 5 o'clock that night. He wanted the baby born on his schedule regardless of whether it was healthy for the baby or there was any discomfort for me. I would have switched doctors before the baby was born, but I was afraid my insurance wouldn't cover 2 doctors and my deductable had already been paid. I only gave him 3 stars because thankfully my baby was born healthy, and unlike Dr. Gex his office staff was very nice and helpful.

I have been here a few times for general GYN issues. I wasn't overly impressed with the physicians. They were friendly, but made me feel somewhat rushed. The front office staff is rather cold and unfriendly. They are also a bit unorganized. I have had bad experiences with them in terms of scheduling appointments. For example, I asked what appt times they had available and they gave me a range from morning til 5 PM. They got an appt for me earlier in the morning, had it written down. Then, they called to confirm my ""5 PM appointment"". I told them no, my appointment was for earlier. And the caller told me ""no, that's not possible our doctors don't even start until 10 AM"" Ooook. She said, but if you like we can get you in at 10 AM. I get there at 10 AM and get scorned by the receptionist that I'm late. That receptionist had me down for the same appt time that I originally had. There have been other scheduling issues like this almost every time I go.\r \r The wait time has not been long, which is a plus. Usually around 5-10 minutes in the waiting room before getting called back. The actual time spent on the phone holding to talk to someone to schedule an appt is usually longer! They recently added a feature to their website where you can schedule an appt online...much better.

Dear Dr. Dolue Ezeanolue (Dr. EZ) and Kind Staff: My account has been turned over to collections last week because I was billed (and rightly so) for injections that took place after my insurance had run out. I was not told this. Now I owe the office upwards of $1000 which I am willing to work on with monthly payments. However, the woman I dealt with in your collections was not the most accommodating person. I tried to work with her but all I can afford is $50 a month. I'm on a strict budget, I am HIV+ and on very expensive life-saving medications and all the costs that that entails, and I also see other doctors for that medical condition as well as have expensive blood work 3 times a year. So now I have to find a new pain doctor all because she (collection agent) refused to work with me). This pains me because I thoroughly enjoyed coming into your office and seeing people who I now consider my friends because they are so caring. I find it so hard and sad to think that I won't be coming back under my Health Plan of Nevada because of the actions of one woman. I will miss seeing the nice, professional people in the office who took such great care of me---not only my pain but always asked about my HIV status and genuinely cared. It's very, very sad to me to have to locate another pain office as Dr. EZ and his staff were always so kind and helpful. In the future, I will definitely recommend APEX but not after recounting this horrible experience with one collection agent in your office. So sadly and with a heavy heart, I say goodbye to APEX and my wonderful "family" of medical professionals there. Sincerely, Rick Grayson 702-376-9016 (DOB 11/1964)

I went to this location for the first time the other day and Deborah was obviously unaware about endometriosis and the pain it causes. It is not easily detected, there is a minor surgery that is performed to confirm that it is in fact endo. You can have it w/o even it being detected on an ultrasound. She told me that I was fine and she couldn't even tell that I was tender, I had some discomfort on my left side. Her hand didn't even go there to feel. Didn't even ask where the pain is located! I suggested laparascopy because I knew that is the way she would detect it (that is how I knew I didn't have a cyst years ago) we actually went back and forth...heck if she didn't need to do it, she could have told me, however, she stated as with any surgery, death can be a result. That was it, I know that already, however, how it came out, I had enough. She was so uncaring and unprofessional that I will not want her to perform any surgery on me nor ever see her again. I went to a primary care physician after I left this place to obtain some pain meds to assist me through my time of pain until I now can locate a doctor with compassion and that knows what they are doing. I will also report this to the insurance company and I just want my old ob/gyn back! He unfortunately crossed a patient/ doctor relation and so I lost a great doctor. He put me on Lupron Depot for 7mo. A hysterectomy wasn't going to happen, so, that is why we went that route. Imagine in a deep sleep and being woken up to sharp and constant pain that has you screaming and in a fetal position, that is what I endure on a constant basis and I'm so tired and worn out from it. I didn't understand why people complained about the doctors here, I see why now. I also see why I was able to get in so quickly. I wouldn't want that woman assisting me w/ anything. I would love a great ob/gyn to assist me please, any recommendations appreciated! Las Vegas/ Summerlin area. ASAP, I am in severe pain and I hate pills.

My experience with spring valley hospital was horrible. If it wasnt for 2 nurses on the post maternity ward,I dont know what I would Have done.I was scheduled to have a c-section on friday the 25th at 7:30 at night but due to lack of communication of my doctors office and the hospital I was not sure what time to get there.I was a half an hour late was suppose to be there at 5:30 got there at 6.When we arrived there was no one there to help us.There was no one working the front desk so we rang the buzzer to the nurses desk in the back. They proceded to yell at us and tell us they were busy and some one would get with us when they had the time.A nurse then came out and starting giving us a bad attitude and telling us we were late and they had no idea when they could get me in the back.It just keep getting worse. They were rude and keep talking to us like we were children,so then my husband yelled back and said we dont appreciate your tone the nurse then threatened me that she was not going to allow my c-section and I would have to come back.I then lost it and started crying, finally after some more craziness they took me in the back and sent my husband up front....Well next part got worse the anestheiologist was horrible, he messed up on my epidural which caused horrible pain shooting down my leg and he then had to do it again, the whole time he was yelling at me saying it was mt fault, well because of all the stress my water ended up breaking...as I was laying on the table I started having a major panic attack I couldnt feel my chest and I freaked out,the whole time The anestheiologist instead of comforting me was yelling at me saying there was nothing wrong with me and to stop moving...very rude and mean...any way while in recoverery the male nurse there just started pushing on my stomach with no warning I cried out in pain he just said O have to help contract your uterus...very rough and rude..There was so much more that happened bad but finally there were 2 nurses on the post - maternity ward that were amazing they were kind and considerate, but all in all it was horrible and I dont care i will never go there again ever...I will deliver my own baby before i would reccomend that hospital.
