When we go to Vegas, it's for this bar. It always feels like home. The food is bar food, nothing special but always comforting. What brings us back time after time are the bartenders.....one in particular ----Leo....We have been coming to Tobys once or twice a year for about 5 years. Leo remembers us each time...he really does!! He always makes a space for us at his station and keeps us "hydrated". During girls weekends where we may need a little protection, he has been our safe place. This past weekend, we had a Bachelorette Party in Vegas, the first night to be at Tobys. We wanted to decorate our table for the bride but were unable to get helium for our balloons since we flew in. Leo offered to (and did) pick up a bottle for us on his way into work! The night was a blast of course and Leo made sure all 11 ladies were taken care of properly. It seems cliche and silly- sounding, but Toby's song is about a neighborhood bar you want to hang out in, this Tobys is my neighborhood bar....350 miles away, "...just walking in the front door puts a big smile on my face!"
It's mostly an indoor hang out for young ballplayers of all ages. My main concern is that there are not enough pitching machines and space is quite limited. It seems to be more of a high school age practice area. The many times that I have been there, I see the youngsters of little league age pretty much overlooked and shoved to the back of the line. Even when there have been certain times scheduled for them to be there. Bill Madlock, (an incredible hitter of big league pitching in his day), is a hitting instructor there. Again, even with Bill, I see the same problem of the older boys getting the most attention even though everyone pays the same price for time slots and practice times..
The hotel seems new but the hotel room is not too up to date. They are still using old fashion light bulbs which generates heat especially in the bathroom. The room is dark and the air conditioner is noisy. The bathroom is very small compare to many Las Vegas hotels in the strip. The restaurants are ok. There is midnight snacks which starts from $0.99. That is a great deal for late night mingle with friends and not to spend too much money. The buffet is decent. The parking is great. I can always find parking on the first level. The attached Pro Bass Shop is great for shopping and spending time.
Best Bar in Las Vegas NV. The only locals bar that gets 5 Stars from me. This is a Bar with Great service and Hot Bartenders. Alisha is my favorite. What can I say. I have a weakness for Hot Bartenders. They have quite a few of those. I only have one complaint about the food! I am getting Fat. Taste so good. The meals are Big. I eat every bite. Ya I know, it's my fault. When I have a beautiful bartender asking do you want anything else.

Stopped into this local bar with a friend last week. Very nice place with great atmosphere. What really stood out though was the service. The bartender Amanda was wonderful. Never had to wait at all for drink refills and she was very pleasant to talk to. Great bar but we would go back just for Amanda.

We went to Wahlburgers for lunch but it was an hour and a half wait. We found Redneck Riviera upstairs and there was live country music and a really fun atmosphere. Turns out their menu is from wahlburgers and they grab the food from downstairs. It was one of the best burgers ever!
Old school Vaudeville style show. Set in an intimate outdoor tent. Go for front row seating. Incredible acts like motorcycle in a metal sphere and of course the lady in the big glass champagne glass with bubbles! Hilariously naughty hosts.
