The Cooling Company
Our dealing with the Cooling Company begin in March of 2012 for maintenance on our cooling and heating system and the fact that the A/C was not as cold as it used to be. It just has not worked right for the past 2 years. The technician they sent out was clean cut and seemed knowledgeable. We have lived in Green Valley for the past 25 years. We have been in our present home for 7 years. We had a few other A/C companies out for service and some minor work and a compressor unit replacement. When the guy from the Cooling company came out in March we were Shocked to learn someone from one of the other companies left the side panel off of the unit in the attic. That caused a major problem by sucking in tons of hot air into the system making the unit work harder to cool the house. This guy was awesome. We then decided to purchase a yearly maintenance contract. The worst thing that could happen in the hottest part of the year happened this month. Starting July 3, 2013 when the temperature was a record 117, our A/C started blowing hot air that afternoon. One of their techs came out within an hour of our call. We take care of my Mom who is bed ridden and on oxygen. We also have three parrots. So it was very important to get the A/C back up and running quickly. The problem was we had a Freon leak. The tech worked on the unit for 2 or 3 hours. He could not find the leak. He managed to get the unit to work enough to get us through the night. He returned the next day. He and another tech spent 4 or 5 hours trying to find the leak on the 4th of July. The person i think is the owner named Wellington came out to help. It was a very tough leak to find. They could not fix it. They once again did their magic to get us through the night. Wellington was back on the 3rd morning. He worked on the unit for about 7 hours. Wellington is an old school person who did not ever give up. He was relentless and focused on finding the leak. During this whole ordeal, the Cooling Company NEVER came up with any excuses or tried to sell us parts or charge us for anything because we had the maintenance contract. He finally found the leak around seven o'clock on July 5th. We were back to normal that night thanks to Wellingtons perseverance, dedication and work ethics. We will never have anyone but The Cooling Company touch our A/C system ever again. We recommend them to everyone.Thank you to everyone at The Cooling Company.Rhonda K.Henderson Nevada

M & K Heating and Cooling
After ARS screwed up two appointments, I decided to do some research on which AC company to deal with. M and K by far had by far, the best customer ratings!Arrived early which I though was a major plus! Couldn't understand most of what he said, but that didn't truly bother me. Then he didn't know how to remove the largest ladder from his truck, even after trying to help him for about 15 minutes. First and second impressions were not good. After calling M and K about my concerns, I was told he was new to the company but had a ton of experience! Finally, he removed the ladder from the truck! I had to help him move the ladder from the truck to the side of my house, which I didn't mind doing! I also had to help him position the ladder to where it didn't hit one of my windows. Once the ladder was in place, he proceeded to climb the ladder and stayed up on my roof for about 30 to 45 minutes. I told him that my AC fan blades were making some noise, which he corrected. He told me that the fan blades were hitting the grate, which he spent time to correct the problem. Not once, besides fixing the fan blades hitting the grate, did he tell me what he did to make my AC more efficient! While writing my bill, he asked me if my filters were clean? The only time he came into my house was when the AC didn't turn on right away when he first arrived! While other AC companies were only charging $59 for the summer check up, I decided to go with M and K with their $107.50 minus the $25 coupon because of everything I read from other past customers ratings! All I want is to make my 15 year old AC to work at it's best to save me some money! On April 25, 2011, I received a full refund in the mail with a apology for sending out a new tech on his first day on the job!To me, this showed a lot of class for a business to admit they did something wrong!!!If I had a choice, I would have wanted them to send out another more experienced tech to thoroughly check out my 15 year old AC unit instead! After reading all the rave reviews on about M and K, my ultimate goal was to find a reputable and reliable AC repair company to sign a service contract and possibly buy a new a more efficient AC unit in the near future!Raised my star rating from two to three stars.Paul

The Cooling Company
I had the distinct pleasure of dealing with the team at TCC. I purchased a home in Henderson and found that I had an issue with the gas fireplace. After calling several companies and not receiving a call back or being told they don't do fireplaces, I got a hold of TCC. From the very beginning, Alexia was fabulous in communicating reminders up to and including 1/2 hour before the technician arrived at my door. That kind of communication you just don't get today. Today you are lucky if the technician shows on time! Ray arrived and dismantled the gas valve unit and spent over an hour diagnosing the issue. His mission and goal was more than evident, and that was to fix the valve rather than replacing it at just under $1,000. Unable to fix the valve, Ray consulted with Wellington (the owner) and he made a visit back with Ray to make sure that the new part was the only option. From that point on, Wellington was on a mission to fix the valve. What company does that? TCC does! To cut a long story short, after several visits and not giving up, or even leaving that as an option, I have my fireplace working again. After all the valve did have to be replaced. There was no charge for the multiple visits and to boot I was given a discount to help defray the expensive part. All in all this company is a 5+ star company. Polite, professional, on-time and had my best interest at the top of their list. I was so impressed that I signed up for their Platinum Package to come out and review my heating and cooling systems several times a year. I could not be in better hands. I look forward to their next visit. Ray, Alexia, and Wellington are the best as I am sure the entire company is. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Air Supply Inc
As a consumer advocate and perfectionist, I did extensive checking of all the major a/c service companies in the greater Las Vegas valley. As you may know, prices are all over the place along with conflicting (sometimes totally wrong) information. I chose Air Supply to repair my 15 year old York a/c compressor for the following reasons:1.Ben Yarkoni gave me an honest evaluation of the 2 parts I needed plus some Freon vs. other contractors who tried to convince me that I needed an entire new compressor costing $2400 to $3600. 2.Air Supply has the best overall online FREE review ratings (I do not trust Angie after being burned by one of her highly recommended contractors)3.Prices quoted for parts and labor was very reasonable. 4.Air Supply uses American Made parts. 5.Ben even took the time to educate me about keeping the unit cleaner so it will run more efficiently. On 6/22/2015 Ben spent nearly 3 hours working under the 107 degree sun to repair one of my 2 compressors. He also inspected and tested my entire second system at no extra cost. The repaired unit now seems to be cooling even better than it did when it was new.Other contractors have been in business here much longer but I judge people and things on quality not quantity. I put more value on recent ratings vs. those from years ago or some reviews that may paid reviews or paid listings. Bottom Line: In my opinion, It doesn’t get any better than this.

The Cooling Company
The Cooling Company is phenomenal. . I hired The Cooling Company after having a bad experience with another air conditioning company. I had purchased and installed a top of the line Lennox air conditioning system. The other company was very late in getting the job done; screwed up my ducting system; and charged me a fortune. I needed two more systems so I hired The Cooling Company. It is one of only two licensed Lennox dealers in Las Vegas. I got bids from both. The Cooling Company was much lower. This concerned me but, as it turned out, I needn't have been concerned at all. They were prompt, efficient, pleasant and accommodating. They explained everything they were doing and why. The installed systems worked well. In fact, I liked them so well, I put in a fourth system (for those 117 degree days).During the installations I got to know the Cooling Company's principals. This is a family business. Father, mother and son all work there and they care greatly about their reputation. The father does the selling and installations. Mom mans the office. And the son spent a long time on the phone with me (no charge) walking me through how to extend my home network so that my four thermostats could all talk to each other.I only wish they did more than just air conditioning. I would hire them for all my construction projects.

The Cooling Company
The owner personally supervised the installation of a 17 SEER Lennox air conditioning unit, plus a gas furnace, which was to replace my existing 15-year old units. Work was completed by Marco and his crew in just one day, the day after I placed my order. Other A/C companies were quoting 3-4 weeks for an install. Wellington specified two options for the unit we might need, and informed me of the cost and benefits of both. After receiving a couple of competitive bids, we choose the more efficient of the two units proposed. His pricing was more than competitive with the other bids. The unit has been working for about two weeks now and there are no problems. Extremely quiet, with no sudden surges or changes in temperature.I was particularly impressed by the staff. The installation crew all wore "booties" and laid down tarps to keep our house clean. The day after the installation Wellington sent his painter out to touch up any scuff marks left by his crew. I was especially impressed by Alexia Cooper, his scheduler. Alexia keep us informed at all times, called to follow-up the next day, and did a great job.I can't say enough about what a great job they did and how pleased we are with the results and great customer service.

The Cooling Company
I want to let you know that the service provide by Junior was above expectation. It appeared that the fan was not starting when needed and sure enough he found the root cause and corrected.I would recommend The Cooling Company to others and have locked them into my contacts. Please be sure to share with Junior that he’s knowledge, professionalism and follow through are top notch and did not go unnoticed. (07-24-2012)I wanted to let you know that once again Junior provided over the top service. I immediately thought of The Cooling Company and Junior when I noticed water at the base of my air conditioning unit inside my condo. Without any hesitation he walked around to the outside and determined that bees had entered the condensation tube (that allows water to leave the unit) and blocked the flow with their activity. He immediately cleared the tube, reset the switch and dried up the area. You would never know he was there. While no one likes to have issues with their air conditioner, I have to say that I will always call The Cooling Company first. (08-10-2012)

The Cooling Company
Fast service, competitive on low prices on Lenox and major brand healting and cooling systems. Estimator came out with in 2 hrs. of calling installation team arrived at at 12:00pm. and team stayed till 8:00 pm when new airconditioning system completed. Team arrived clean and left every area they worked in as if they had never been there, no additonal clean up required.Bottom line is that this company is very honest and reputable to work with.I'm originally from the east coast and have had a lot of experience dealing with the good and bad companies for 25 yrs. So go with "The Coolinging Company" and you will have a good deal and a great experience. One additonal note "The Coolinging Company" is a certified Lennox dealer on the Lennox website for the Las Vegas area and they arrived with in 2 hrs. to to the job, the other Top rated Lennox dealer in Las Vegas said they couldn't even send an estimator out for 2 days, try waiting for 2 days for AC work with 120 degree temps.

The Cooling Company
The Cooling Company installed a new unit 2 years ago and did a phenomenal job. Had an issue this week because of all the humidity we've had, we had a leak :( Crawled up in the attic and discovered the unit was tilted causing water to seep out on the bathroom ceiling. Called them after hours and had a live person answer... explained the situation and they scheduled a tech for today. The tech arrived on time and it was the same tech that was out originally on my call 2 years ago. Ray remembered me!! He said he had wondered if everything was going all right with us and remembered our business too... how often does that happen with someone that only visits you once?!! He fixed the issue for us within an hour and made sure everything was flowing correctly for us. I don't normally write reviews... but in the case of The Cooling Company, I'm more than happy to write about the EXCELLENT service and products they provide. Thank you Cooling Company... you've earned my respect!!

M & K Heating and Cooling
We noticed that our heater wasn't working and did an online search to find a repair person. Mike and M&K had the best (and the most, by far) reviews, so we gave him a call on a Tuesday afternoon. He was more than willing to do a same day service call, but he had appointments scheduled all over the city that day, so we scheduled an appointment for 11am on Wednesday. Not only was he 20+ minutes early (which seems rare these days), he was just the nicest man in the world! He quickly diagnosed our problem as a burned out heating element and he had a replacement part in his truck. He was done fixing our heater in under 30 minutes, which was great. Mike also took the time to teach my husband about the air purifier that the previous owners had installed in our attic and he made it work for probably the first time ever. If you need someone to repair your heating or cooling system, CALL M&K! You will not be sorry!!!
Tips & Advices
You can keep your air conditioner running efficiently with some preventative care measures. Shut off the power to your AC before cleaning it or performing any of these tasks:  clean your filter at least twice a year; remove leaves and twigs from cages; clean the fins with a garden hose or special spray, then use a butter knife to straighten any that are crooked; keep your yard clean so the fins won't get blocked; cover the unit up for winter; and make sure it's level or you run the risk of damaging the inner workings of the unit.
To clean your air conditioner drain, first shut off the power to your unit at both the thermostat and the breaker. Then remove the drain pan. If the pan is full of water, soak up the liquid with a few towels or rags or use a wet vacuum. You can use a solution of water and distilled vinegar, or substitute peroxide for the vinegar, to clean out the drain pipe. Let the pipe sit for a while in the solution and then put all the parts back in place. Once you start using your air conditioner on a regular basis, check it periodically to ensure condensation isn't building up.
If you happen to live in a hot and humid area of the country, drainage problems can occur with your unit since moisture can trap itself inside the system. Routine maintenance can cut down on drainage issues by cleaning out any mold or algae from blocking the drain. If you notice moldy smells whenever you turn the thermostat down, check on your system.
If you notice your system is acting inconsistently, the sensor is most likely out of place. Turn off the unit and reach behind its control panel while carefully bending the sensor back into place near the evaporative coil.
Find out where the noises are coming from. A banging or clanking sound could be due to a loose part. If you hear a hissing sound, it's most likely because of a refrigerant leak and you should contact an HVAC technician as soon as possible.
