Cashier was very rude, pizza was cold..soda area very nasty, looks like mold on soda nozzles ( health department)

Overall GREAT grocery store, with friendly stuff, amazing selection, and even more amazing prices. Only knock for this place is that it "feels cheap." It's always crowded, because of the rest deals, so loads of people come in, and there are pocket areas of mess.
Good place to get a sub & beer employees are ok plus they have lowest price for Ciggs.in neighborhood
I just relocated from Ny and Iive up the block from this Circle K and visit here and there. I must compliment the late night worker Joseph! He has a great attitude awesome smile and just so friendly and polite. Coming from Ny everyone isnt so nice. But its really refreshing because you dont know what a person is going thru in life and all it take is that one person to make their day.. I Thank you Joseph for making me smile. Lisamarie
SMITHSI bought a pork roast on sale and I divided into two and roasted 1/2. Noticed label over previous label. Meat was cyrovac to retain freshness, so fine but with curiosity I looked under the label and that label had a discount sale price with sell by date: 2/2/16 and I bought the meat on 3/1/16. The top label did not specify to use by certain date so I don't really know when this meat was originally packaged and how old it actually was from first packing.
Owner of this shop is dishonest and will dupe you if you dont check your receipt. Make sure u check always. I personally no longer shop at this store.
I have a chronic pain condition for many years now and am working with a leading pain doctor to manage my condition. The pain medication I take is Methadone, a commonly prescribed pain medication but also a drug used for addiction management for Heroin addicts. When I presented my prescription to the pharmacist on duty at Smith's on Rancho drive, she cried out "We don't carry that stuff!". I asked if she couldn't order it because I have a regular refill. She said "Well I could but I don't want to deal with anymore of those C2 scripts anymore anyway. They're too much work." I asked what is C2. She told me it meant the schedule 2 prescriptions. She then asked "Where do you get that stuff anyway?" I realized then that she perhaps thought I was a former heroin addict or something and just didn't want to serve me! I have never encountered this reaction from a pharmacist before. She was shaming and judging me for having a chronic pain condition! She did not offer to order it or offer an alternative pharmacy nor make a simple phone call to another Smith's ---- nothing. I asked for her name please. She cried out "Whacha gonna do? Write a complaint or somethin'?" I said yes, she had failed to serve me. She then yelled at the top of her lungs "Hey, crew, I want you to see I am not refusing this woman service, I just don't have it in stock. But maybe come back in a few days. I can't guarantee anything". I would happily trade my degenerative spine condition and the fibromyalgia for her arrogant sense of judgement that allows her to decide who is allowed medicine. Her name is Sherona. She is African American ---- I would think she had seen enough discrimination in her day to understand the impact of treating people without understanding or empathy. Or maybe she could just do her job! Smith's is in a bad way for having an employee like this.
The foods being sold here are always fresh and they do a great job at making sure to give nothing less but the best quality for their customers.
