Extremely disappointing. She has no respect for people's time. I made an appointment weeks in advance and was told to arrive 15 minutes early. I did. I was told to print out and fill out the many pages of paperwork before I arrived in the office. I did. I was then forced to wait 45 minutes and was told by 2 different staff members that she was out to lunch. I was going to be a new patient, so you would think that she would want to put her best foot forward at our first meeting and at least keep the appointment time I had scheduled with her office. When she finally wandered in, she never even apologized. Just because she's a doctor does not mean that her time is more important than mine. I was furious and left. I will not be her new patient and will not recommend her to anyone else.

First time visit and was very pleased... Staff greeted me as I approached the counter. I love a business that provides excellent customer service. Dr. Lopez was very nice and i didn't have to wait around for his arrival.. The assistants were very nice made me feel welcomed..

I recently moved here in May. It has been quite a nightmare finding a doctor. Dr.Liu and his staff were more than helpful and accomidating. The woman at the front desk, Jessica, I think was her name, was so respectful and patient with me. I came from a small town and had the same obgyn for 25 years so was a little rusty on all the information they were needing, & feeling very overwhelmed. Dr. Liu has a great bedside manner that I thought didn't exist anymore. I would recommend his practice over and over.

I would rather give ZERO stars. This is the third time coming to this location. I had to find a new doctor as I had changed jobs and my previous doc no longer accepted my new insurance. The biggest mistake was choosing this place. I signed up to yelp just so I can write this. I left the office in tears this morning. The receptionists are the worst. The second time I went was for a minor procedure and I opted to receive email notification so when my results came in I went on to their portal but I did not understand their terminology so naturally I called over so someone could explain. The woman who answered was pretty rude. I asked if she could explain to me what the results were because I did not understand it online, she then said "what part don't you understand". I was shocked and I said well everything really. She placed me on hold for about 10 minutes well long story short they later apologized. I was over it and was willing to go back to them when I found out I was pregnant. I went in this morning and they apparently did not have the correct insurance information. I told her I wished they would have told me when I called to make the appointment and she just said "well its your insurance card..." again shocked! I waited a while to get the appt so I asked if I could run home and come back in an hr. She kept going back and forth to double check to which I went back to my seat every time (it is a super small waiting room) so the third time she came out she said to her colleague-not knowing that I could hear-"God where is she?! She keeps leaving!"... Unbelievable.I am a concierge and I know what good service is...this is not it! Please save yourself some pain/trouble and DO NOT COME HERE.

Wish their was no stars I spend 30 mins on the phone trying to schedule with a lady who can't even speak English properly repeating myself over and over again and then being on hold for 10 just for her to say she got in to the system ridiculous then I get there and they say I have to reschedule after driving all the way across town instead of just calling me and the only white girl there has the worst attitude ever disrespectful wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy.

I walked into my apt 15 min early and found the front desk receptionist dealing with personal issues on the phone, while I waited to check in and begin my new patient paperwork. After I completed all the paper work I was then told I had a copay for a preventive service which I verified with my ins that was 100% covered. I was then told that I would have to wait until they spoke with the dr. which took another hour. I was then told no I had to pay the copay which I didn't owe to begin with. when I asked the front desk person to call my ins, she stated that she had. when I asked to know who she spoke to she said she verified my ins online. I then stated to her that it should show 100% covered. then she told me the dr called my ins personally and told my ins that he would be charging me and that they okayed. Which I then contacted my ins and they stated that was incorrect and untrue. I called the dr office back and spoke with the office mananger who I found out was the lady sitting upfront the entire time next to the staff that was refusing to see me. and her response was they have issues with insurances not paying 100%. in return I did let her know that what she was doing is wrong, and she shouldn't be charging. people what they don't owe. and the manager is the dr. wife.

Dr. Zak was my doctor and she was rude each time I went for a visit. She would interrupt me while I was trying to ask questions about my baby, and she was rough and caused pain during examinations. The doctor and ultrasound tech never gave me any information about the baby or pregnancy. The ultrasound technology thy have is about 20 years behind so don't expect any clear pictures of your baby. The nurse was rude and unfriendly, as was the office staff. The place looks like a dump. And if you want a doctors office that will call you back, look elsewhere! I've been to many other OBGYN offices, and this was by far the worst experience I've had. Pregnancy is supposed to be a special time in a woman's life an I left feeling angry and sad after each visit and phone call.

I walked into a jam packed old, dingy looking office with only a few chairs open. I was briefly greeted then waited over 40 minutes to be taken to see the doctor. The nurse who did my vitals was rude and unfriendly. I could hear the entire conversation being had in the room next to mine. I then waited another 30 minutes in another old And dingy room for the doctor. I will never ever go here again, I don't care how good the doctor is. My time was completely wasted and disrespected. Terrible.
Tips & Advices
OB/GYNs learn to treat infertility as part of their standard education. OBGYNs who further their training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility are known as fertility specialists.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a treatment where medication is used to replace hormones a woman's body does not create naturally. Women are prescribed either estrogen alone or a mix of estrogen and progesterone. The former is given to women who've had hysterectomies, while the latter is for postmenopausal women. HRT used to be a common treatment, but doctors have prescribed it less often in recent years, as concerns of negative side effects increased.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where uterine tissue (endometrium) grows in areas outside the uterus. This can cause extreme pain, especially around menstruation and during sex. Other symptoms include infertility, chronic fatigue, and painful urination or bowel movements during menstruation. In addition, many women with endometriosis also have allergies, frequent yeast infections, or sensitivity to certain chemicals.
Morning sickness is a common pregnancy symptom that includes nausea and occasional vomiting. Despite its name, morning sickness can occur at any time of day. The exact reason for this condition isn't clear, although most believe it results from hormone changes affecting muscle contraction and relaxation in the stomach and intestines. Another theory suggests morning sickness is caused by an abundance of intestinal bacteria in pregnant woman.
OBGYNs can prescribe or perform the following types of birth control:
  • Contraceptive pills
  • Birth control shots
  • Implants
  • Diaphragms
  • Vaginal rings
  • Cervical caps
  • Intrauterine devices
  • Tubal ligation
  • Hysterectomies
Women do not need to see an OBGYN to obtain over-the-counter forms of birth control such as male condoms, female condoms, or sponges.
