Empire Today
Worst customer service. Poor installation, can't get repairs completed from improper install. Talked to supervisors several times with no results. I would never use or recommend this company again. Beware - warranty is no good if you can't get anyone to respond. Calling customer service is a waste - put on hold never to return!

Best Buy Flooring
First of all Mannington laminate floors are advertised by the sales folks here as scratch resistant. The sales guys get a key & scratch it and nothing happens to it. We get it installed & my plastic floor attachment for my vacuum scratches the floor. I was confused because they scratched it with a key & it was fine and my plastic attachment scratches it so we open a case & the Shaw rep and BBF tells me this is not supposed to happen. We hear back and we are responsible for damage. This was less than 30 days of getting it installed. During that time I vacuumed my Shaw Polished Image carpet that I also bought from them and my Dyson is apparently too strong & I can't use it on this carpet so I Shaw and ask them about a vacuum on the list called Panasonic CG945. I couldn't find one so I called them to ask if it was ok to use the CL945 and the lady at Shaw says I can use it. The vacuum arrived today & it's doing the same thing. Nicot Flooring & Cabinets
really careless people, His owner made the estimates and at the middle of the project when everything is apart he raise the price big time double basically, If you don't agree with his new prices he just leave the job as is with any consideration. I am aware that he is messing with more people houses and money, he is just a scam . at my house he left wires and nails attached to the floor with have no sake and care, I have a little one in my house and i asked him to at least fix that and he was just mean and blocked me on the phone... at the end I have to hire someone else to fix the mess he left and obviously paying double for the job..

Fabulous Floors
Great selection in a gorgeous showroom. Too bad the "sales team" were too busy watching tv to help me and my wife. They would rather gossip and hang out than help me make a purchase. I would give a negative rating if it were possible.

Apex Flooring
This company did a great job. Ron from Apex flooring came to my house and went over all my different floor options and colors to choose from. I ended up choosing a floor that looks like real wood but its completely waterproof. Luv my new floor! I would definitely use them again.

Vegas Flooring Outlet
We were to replace our 1650 sf of old carpet with tile. I looked all around Las Vegas and had many choices. Kept coming back to LV Flooring and ultimately bought from them after cancelling an order with another store. Their prices for both material and installation were the lowest we found anywhere. Khan was prompt and accommodating and came right out to measure. He actually came up with about 70 sf less than I had previously measured with another store, saving me hundreds of dollars. We selected a super discounted porcelain tile that we liked and Khan’s team got right to work. They were efficient and accommodating, making any changes we asked for without question. They also included carpet removal and furniture moving within their very affordable $2/sf install price. Khan came out personally twice to check on quality and the second time was at my request to check the grout for consistency. He made sure the installer fixed all areas of my concern before accepting my final payment and calling the job complete. These guys are all about customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Nulook Floor
My husband and I went back to Nulook Floors to get more flooring for our foyer in our home. We got some great looking tile flooring at a reasonable price. The customer service was fantastic, and they really took their time to show us EVERYTHING they had in stock. We love our new floors and think you will love the huge selection at this place as well!

Square Yard of Nevada Inc
Online store is a fraud. They sell merchandise that they don't even stock and then try to keep your money. Beware!!!
Tips & Advices
In most states, contractors are required to have a license before taking a job. Some states also require registration. To be licensed, contractors must pass an exam and meet certain qualifications that prove he or she is a competent flooring contractor. Registration is simply a list of who will be performing a job.
The time it takes to install flooring depends on the type of flooring and the size of the room or rooms involved in the project. In one day, a typical contractor can usually install up to 2,000 square feet of carpet, 600 square feet of hardwood or laminate, or 400 square feet of tile or stone.
  • Do you have a professional license, insurance, and a business liability policy?
  • Who will work on the project?
  • Do you subcontract, and do you screen workers and have insurance policies to cover them?
  • Do you have references or examples of your work I can see?
  • Do you charge for an in-home estimate?
  • What type of flooring is best for my home in terms of architectural consistency, environmental influences (such as whether a certain type of flooring will be affected by humidity in my area), and durability?
Legally, insurance is not necessary, but it's a good idea for flooring contractors to have it. When hiring a flooring contractor, ask whether the business is insured. If it's not, consider that a red flag.
A flooring contractor should know the pros and cons of each flooring option. These might include pricing, time of installation, durability, and average lifespan of the material.
