Don Nobis Progressive Physical Therapy
Don is the epitomy of what a "caregiver" should be. On my first visit he actually examined me! A complete exam! He made eye contact, he spoke to me not at me. He gave me a chance to ask questions, he explained everything he was going to do and why. And he did something that really surprised me...he actually shows concern and compassion. And his staff professional courteous helpful and they actually remember your name. I don't think I ever waited more than 5 minutes with or without an appointment. Definitely everything a caregiver should be.

Desert Valley Therapy
I started here in September 2015 after receiving neck, back and arm injuries from a rear-end collision. After I made the initial appointment I could never get ahold of anyone via phone -- ever -- and they never returned my calls. At my first PT visit I was given several exercises to do while someone stayed with me to make sure I did the correct amount of reps and maintained correct form. The following six weeks I did the same exercises except NO ONE stayed with me to make sure my form was correct or to ensure I was doing the correct number of reps. The lady next to me even complained, "How am I supposed to remember all this stuff?!?" You're NOT ... they are supposed to guide you. They had me using resistance bands, and I knew my form was off. I frequently called the guy over to ask for help in correcting my posture. Eventually I stopped asking for help, they just do not care. They point to which piece of equipment you are to start on, then they go to a computer in the center of the room and rarely ever look back up. I often wondered if I should even be doing the resistance bands since I had a back injury and the bands clearly made it worse.Upon arrival, they would ask how I was feeling that day. I was often near tears from the Level 9-10 pain, and once I actually did cry, but on my Patient Reports they listed "is feeling better today." What?!? I never ever ever felt better -- although sometimes when they asked how I was doing I simply replied "ok" because I knew they didn't want to hear I still had the same ailments that I started with. Now here is the kicker ... on my last visit I faxed a copy of my new MRI Report over to Chris for review, prior to my appointment. When I arrived I confirmed he had received and reviewed the report along with my cover page indicating that due to the severity of my injuries this visit would be my last. Since my neck and head were hurting, he took me over to a table where I though he was going to do a pressure point massage, as he had done once before. Instead, he proceeded to CRACK my neck!!! The MRI report clearly indicated severe cervical spine injury (among other things) and he still cracked my neck ... I couldn't believe it!!! Had he told me his intentions I would never have let him touch me.A second MRI confirmed that no additional damage had been done by Chris, but I wound up having emergency surgery as my cervical injuries had already caused permanent nerve damage and were very likely to cause paralasys if I waited too long. I still cannot believe Chris cracked my neck after reading the initial MRI Report. On top of it all, the place is quite dingey and the PT "tools" are extremely basic. When I needed a second round of PT after my cervical spine surgery I absolutely went somewhere else. You should, too.

HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas
This rehab center is okay. However, some patients are there to get their nurse injected heroin and have fights with their family members over the phone and ask for sleeping pills to sleep. Place is good I like my stay but was not getting enough rest due to my roommate who keeps on rolling his wheelchair to demand his pain shot

My Left Foot Children's Therapy
My niece was born at 23 weeks and was in the NICU for over 4 months. When she was released we were referred to My Left Foot. She was in Feeding, Occupational, Physical, Speech, and Aquatic Therapy. Her therapists were so dedicated and worked so well with her. The therapists at My Left Foot treated my niece as if she were their child. As a parent myself I cannot tell you how comforting that is. Not many medical facilities do that these days. We consider my niece our miracle and My Left Foot played an instrumental part in her growth. When my niece was released from the hospital they had her adjusted age as a newborn. She was already over 4 months old. She was unable to hold her head up, respond to familiar noises, drink the recommended amount of formula, or even grip your finger. She literally just laid there staring at nothing. I am so proud to say that she is now 1 year old and is walking, talking, and causing all kinds of trouble! We know that she would not be functioning at her age level had it not been for the hard work of all of her therapists at My Left Foot. We are so blessed to have been referred here. We have since moved out of state and are having a very hard time in finding services that equal the level of dedication at My Left Foot. My family and I cannot thank the owners, therapists, and staff enough for everything they have done for her! Keep up the good work My Left Foot! You helped change our life and we are forever grateful!

Kelly Hawkins Physical Therapy
Office is clean.. Therapist are nice and great. However the front office girls are so rude & lazy. I have notice some of them on there cell phones. In one occasion a patient was asking for something and the receptionist told him she was busy ordering a shirt on line.I just couldn't believe what she said. The patient had no choice but to ask the other receptionist for help. She was very nice. Good thing I am not a patient, I was just waiting for my friend.

Healing Waters Institute
The name Healing Waters definitely has brought healing to my insides. Just finding out that I am allergic to gluten has been a difficult transition. I went to the Healing Water Institute to clean my outsides out of all the junk and processed food I digested. They made me feel comfortable and I not embarrassed. Thank you.

Edwin Suarez Physical Therapy LLC
5 STAR RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are receiving PT you are in need of mobility, functional range of motion and flexibility. We were so blessed the day we found Edwin Suarez PT! Having been at Matt Smith PT, and other smaller, much more horrible places, ESPT has been life changing. The other PTs were for my sons birth defect Arthrogryposis, focusing only on the contractures in his wrists, with only minimal attention to his legs as they were very functional. Unfortunately a botched surgery, left our then 10 year old son with severed sciatic nerves in both legs. He was in worse shape than ever. After having been in casts for a month and surgery repair, that didn't work, he was crippled worse than from the birth defect! Edwin's plan got him up in a stander, and walking on a treadmill with the assistance of a walker within about a month and a half. I was terrified, but Edwin was undaunted in his quest to allow Tyler to get back some semblance of mobility. To my amazement, he can now run! He steps up on 8" blocks and down again, he has stamina and has adopted Edwins never say "can't" attitude! He still has contractures in his knees, and we're dealing with that, but he's not in a wheel chair! Many other facilities, in this age of Medicaid refusals, would have certainly made it fiscally more beneficial for Edwin to deny Tyler and walk away to another patient with "good paying" medical insurance! WALK AWAY WAS EDWIN'S INTENTION, BUT IT WAS FOR TYLER, NOT HIMSELF!" This selfless man AND HIS AMAZING STAFF, have changed the outcome of Tyler's life! LIFE CHANGING 5 STAR RESULTS! I don't care what huge pretty building you might find another staff in, THE RESULTS ARE HERE, THE STAFF HAVE BECOME FRIENDS, THE FAMILIES ARE LOVED! This experience has forever touched my heart and the hearts of many others, EDWIN IS THE COMMON DENOMINATOR! Allowing him to work his magic, believing in his judgement and recommendations, IS THE SMARTEST DECISION YOU'LL EVER MAKE IN YOUR LIFE! Don't bother with other places (in my opinion and experience), YOU'LL NEVER FIND A PT FACILITY THAT GETS BETTER RESULTS WITH MORE LOVE THAN EDWIN SUAREZ PHYSICAL THERAPY!

I am very impressed by knowlege, service, compassion!! This is a place where old fashion values are respected.
Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
