I can't begin to thank you enough for all that you have done for me. Pregnancy and child birth left me with a version of myself I wasn't comfortable with, but you've helped me get back some of the confidence that I lost and the happiness I feel when I see myself. I know there is considerable amount of time before I see the final results, but the very promise that I can get back a version of myself is liberating and exciting all on its own. I am ready to get my body back in shape and I promise I will follow all of your instructions! There's a huge responsibility I feel not to undermine or neglect the art and beautiful work you provided me. There was a moment when you were making your marks on my body and I felt like a canvas and I was in the presence of a true artist. I immediately felt calm and confident all would go well. It's obvious you love what you do, but what's more remarkable is the attention to detail, your compassion, and time you spent making sure everything was perfect. Dr. Smith, you are the consummate professional and a master of your craft. I believe it shows not only in yourself, but with the amazing team you have. The moment I walked into your office this time around, I felt special. The service and care couldn't have been better. Everyone was happy to help and was genuinely concerned that the entire process went smoothly. From the "A" team in the operating room with Dr. Crowley who took extra steps to make me feel comfortable and secure- he is just a gem, to the beautiful smiling faces at the front desk, I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate all of them! Thank you again for a positive, wonderful experience. I won't forget your kindness and I will appreciate what you have done for me daily. All the best to you and your fabulous team!

Bad aftercare and horrendous attitude! I paid $9500 and simply asked about fixing some bumps on my lip that were causing me to have a slight lisp during my stage act. Instead of having me make a new appointment to come take care of it sooner than my existing one, he said to me, "I love how you focus only on the minor negative aspects of your surgery rather than the overall result." Well, if I created music tracks for a film and the producer loved it except for one bad chord, I'd just fix the bad chord! I wouldn't tell him that he's focusing just on the one bad chord instead of looking at the overall piece of music! My face, speech and singing are part of my work! If I were only focusing on the negative, I would have complained about the hematoma he didn't treat for a week because his staff didn't tell him, my two earlobes that are different shapes, and the fact that my neck is messed up from that hematoma. I just asked about helping me to better do my job. I am now going to find another Dr, to help me since Dr. Lane obviously has some ill-placed anger issues. He even blocked me from Facebook like I'm a stalker or over-the-top complainer! Very strange behavior for a professional who is supposed to be servicing a patient.

Stephen W Gordon MD
Dr. Gordon is "THE MOST EXPERIENCED PLASTIC SURGEON IN LAS VEGAS". His fees are not subjective. All rates are based upon time in the operating room. These days, there are quite a few patients that are trying to get a surgery for free or they want to name their price. We would love to make everyone happy, but we cannot. We run promos and when they are over, they're over. We always work with patients to help them obtain their goals, if they are reasonable. But if the patient is not willing to be reasonable, we can't help. We have found sometimes, unhappy patients use tactics to strong arm, brow beat, throw tantrums and use sites like this one as an avenue of social media terrorism. We have experienced someone who said "If you don't do my surgery for free, I will Go on every website and give you a bad review" Direct quote. In some circles this would be labeled as "HATE CRIMES", which is now an illegal act subject to criminal prosecution. There is no reason for anyone to attack someone on a personal basis or attack someones appearance. These patients are not talking about the quality of the work, they are complaining they could not get 1/2 price.

When I was sitting in the room waiting to see Dr. Smith I was so nervous, I was not sure how I was going to disrobe as I was used to seeing all female doctors. When Dr. Smith entered the room I was overcome by his demeanor and it brought a lot of peace to what was a very stressful situation for me. he spoke to me as I was a person rather than just another patient, just another procedure. I was so thankful for his gentleness and compassion to what was a very embarassing siutation for me. He took his time making sure I was aware of all the possibilities that could happen with liposuction. I had expressed to him that I saw another surgen that basically said my situation was hopeless and I needed to accept my imperfections, I was so upset by this. He had faith that he could improve my situation, I was so elated to hear him speak and put my mind at ease. I did have surgery and it went great! I am so thankful for everything he did for me, he gave me hope that perhaps with him and effort on my part I reach my goals and not have to settle with the parts of me that were flawed.

Dr. Kralle, the anesthesiologist, is awesome to work with! Dr. Smith was able to not only correct a terrible rhinoplasty I had done by another Dr., but also leave me with a nose I love way better than the original. It took two correction surgeries, but the result is well worth it! If anyone needs correction of a previous procedure, I would STRONGLY recommend him and his staff. Cost was very comparable to the original plastic surgeon who had relatively little experience and practiced in a small town. Vegas is fairly inexpensive to stay if you are going to travel ($30/night hotel room at the Stratosphere), and there is so much to entertain you while you are recovering. I would definitely go back! I strongly suggest staying in Vegas during the recovery period rather than traveling back and forth (I've tried both). Let your body heal while you hang out by the pool. When it comes to procedures like these, always go with someone very experienced - that is what I learned through all this.

My experience was AWESOME!!! Dr. Smith was great from the start to finish, including his entire staff & anesthesiologist. I was referred to Dr. Smith through a friend and coming from Hawaii, we don't always have the best & most affordable options...I was shocked by the costs comparison from Dr. Smith to my rip off in Hawaii...Dr. Smith is definitely a perfectionist & very, very thorough. Like others said, he gives you his honest opinion and gives you what you want. I had an infection prior to chest reconstruction & I was jus seeing him for a consultation & he gave me medication to handle my infection, even without being a current or previous patient...THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE & AWESOMENESS!!! They are worth taking the trip from Hawaii...I will be back ;-)

Anson, Edwards and Higgins Plastic Surgery Associates
Dr. Higgins and his team are absolutely phenomenal! Due to having an uncommon medical condition (the bleeding disorder Hemophilia B) I waited years to find the right doctor for a breast augmentation. After a lot of research and many referrals I felt confident that Dr. Higgins was the ideal match for my situation. I had seen his work on other women and had many friends (and even staff at other surgeons' offices) tell me that Higgins is the very best. Let me just say that all of my expectations were exceeded! He and his team are welcoming and as knowledgeable as it gets in this industry. I am SO happy with my results and if you're considering an augmentation or other cosmetic procedure I would HIGHLY recommend giving them a call.

Wait times are long here, but that's because Dr. Smith truly takes his time with every patient and always wants to explain everything and make sure he answers every question you have. THAT IS a caring Doctor!!! Idk what Lisa is talking about; one receptionist doesn't make the whole practice a sham where you shouldn't bring your children if they become injured! I found her review not to be very detailed on actual reasons why if she cares to elaborate? Don't let her review deter you. Every receptionist was nice to me while I was there and Dr. Smith is a nice person. He came highly recommended from every hot Las Vegas girl I know.

Reynolds Plastic Surgery
My friend referred me to Dr. Reynolds and I'm so glad I took her advice! Dr. Reynolds is great because he is so knowledgable and easy to talk to. I really appreciated that he took the time to really listen to what I wanted and the things that concerned me, and then gave me his honest opinions and laid out all the options for me. He didn't try to persuade me to do any one thing-- instead, he thoroughly talked me through every possibility so that I could make an educated decision, and I so appreciated that! The office staff is wonderful and efficient, and made my experience so easy and pleasant. I would definitely recommend him!
Tips & Advices
Plastic surgery comes from the Greek word “plastikos,” which means “to mold” or “to change.” Plastic surgery is a specialty in the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It includes cosmetic or aesthetic surgery, but also includes reconstructive surgery, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and burn treatment.
The vast majority of cosmetic surgical procedures occur on an outpatient basis. With more extensive surgery, such as a tummy tuck, a previous health condition, or monitoring is needed, the doctor might require a short hospital stay.
Depending on the procedure, cosmetic surgery can cost anywhere from several -hundred dollars for facial “filler” injections to $20,000 for extensive invasive surgery. In addition to the surgeon’s fee, the patient or insurance company will be responsible for a surgical facility fee, anesthesia, medical tests, prescriptions, surgical garments, and other miscellaneous costs related to surgery.
According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the top five cosmetic surgical procedures in 2016 were:
  • Liposuction (414,335 procedures)
  • Breast Augmentation (310,444 procedures)
  • Tummy Tuck (181,540 procedures)
  • Eyelid Surgery (173,883 procedures)
  • Breast Lift (161,412 procedures)
Common nonsurgical cosmetic procedures include Botox injections, laser hair removal, and laser skin resurfacing.
While there is no definitive age minimum or maximum for a given procedure, most doctors won’t operate on minors for cosmetic reasons. Beyond the actual surgery, the risks of general anesthesia should be a major consideration for elderly patients.  Good doctors will advise patients against a procedure they think is unnecessary, carries unwanted risk, or won’t produce the desired outcome.
