Trico Transmissions & Auto Repair
I have a 2002 Acura 3.2 TL Type-S with over 280K miles on it. I took it in about 18 months ago to have the transmission repaired. I had a few challenges with it for about 9 months. Each time I had trouble with it, I would bring it in for a free diagnosis. Each time everything looked fine. I was finally able to figure out how to reproduce the issue and took Bob for a test drive. Bob immediately said this was not right, and he would make it right. He took the car back in and pulled the transmission again and found the issue (this was not a common issue). Bob made this right and updated the firmware for my transmission at no additional charge! I have now been driving the car since then for 90+ days with no issues. The transmission is the best it has been in years, and with the firmware upgrade, I get better performance from my transmission than I ever had! I wanted to wait until I had driven the car for some time to see if everything is good, and I want to state that I am VERY please with the service and support I got from Bob at Trico Transmissions. Every business encounters challenges from time to time, it is how that business chooses to handle those challenges when they occur. Bob and his team with Trico went above and beyond to make things right with me.

RJ Automotive, Inc.
Definately reccomended!!,I have had some bad experiences at several repair shops until today! The owner of RJ Nick was awsome and his mechanic Sean was great! They were not only very very friendly but extremely knowledgeable and honest. They were the only ones to actually use a diagnosyic computer on my car instead of using the hand held basic code reader. By using an advanced computer they were able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my car. The other places told me they didnt see a bad code so they couldnt tell me what was wrong. What a joke! Anyway they repaired my car extremely fast. And gave me a great price. NEVER did he try to upsell me or BS me about the issues. As a matter of fact my GF and I sat around and talked to Nick for about 30 minutes afterwards. I have some other work that needs done and he said when I am ready to just come by instead of pressuring me to fix the issues right then. I will definately use them again and HIGHLY reccomend them to anybody. Cant say enough good things about them. I wish when I moved back to Tx in August that I could bring them with me.

Alltech Auto Repairs, Service, and Transmissions
Highly Recommend! I was referred by a x-worker for Transmission rebuilds. Brought them to Alltech my 2009 VW because gears started feeling a delay. I had a dash light on. I was sure it was my transmission. Luckily they diagnosed it and determined all I required was an external adjustment. They said the torque converter module wasn't communicating with the Electronic control module. I am not a rogue scholar in this area. I really appreciated how much time they took to explain everything. Luckily for me they cleared the codes and made an external adjustment. I really trust this team. I then was told it would be a good idea to change my Fluid since I was 50,000 miles overdue. They could have told me anything - I was scared. Thank God for honest reputable places like family operations. I will keep going to them now for all my cars needs and bring my husband there too. I got some preventable factory recommended care using BG Fluid for my transmission. I'm happy. They have a huge shop and really specialize in Transmissions Repairs. Also they changed a timing belt for me.

Karl and Son Auto Repair Inc
I am from PA, my daughter moved to Florida. She was having problems with her car. The car was serviced at other garages and the repairs were poor at an outrageous in price. I spent hours surfing the net, attempting to find a competent, trustworthy garage, at a Fair Price in FL. I spoke with multiple garages and decided to try the garage in Largo. I found EXACTLY what I was looking for at Karl and Son!! Karl was quick to assure me they provide quality service at a fair price. Karl assisted in getting the car to the garage, kept me informed, provided the repairs in a Super Timely Fashion, at a Fair Price, and assisted getting the car back to her the same day... Words cannot express how much I appreciate the service, quality, and fair price my daughter received at Karl and Son!! We have found our "Go To" garage for all of her future automobile needs. Stellar Service, Thanks to all involved!! Highly Recommend this Garage for all of your Automobile Service!!

Amazing. I live up north and come down for the winters. Yep, I'm a snowbird. My husband didn't drive down with me so when my BMW 5 series started having shifting issues, I was frantic. It's a 2011 and out of warranty. I was referred to Alltech Transmissions by a friend in my women's group who spoke very highly about her experience their. Also ii like to support female owned businesse and was very impressed by her compassion. She said she loves educating women about how to take better care of their vehicles. She and her partner were extremely friendly and personable. I felt like I was cared about from through the entire process. They make you feel important and special. The compassion they have is genuine. I highly recommend them. I must say as far as price goes, I was very impressed that they were not super expensive. BMW Repairs can really put a dent in your wallet but they charged me a very fair price and gave me a huge rebate. Thanks Alltech

They are no doubt the best Transmission Rebuild shop around. They are extremely professional, PERSONABLE, & RESULTS DRIVEN in my experience. They provide the best quality assurance in and around this auto repair industry. I think with cars Quality is the most important. Price is important as well but I do not mind paying for the BEST Quality I can find. I am a BUSY MAN, i DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR my car to fail on me. I know if ALLTECH Transmissions repairs it I will never have to go back for the same repaired problem. In my long life I have been around. My Nissan 2009 Pathfinder had a leak and my gears felt like they were skipping. My husbands brother told us Alltech was really on top of their game, not only that but they reman high performance transmissions with upgrades from the factory. I wanted to keep my car it only has 89,000 miles and I know pathfinders are notorious for transmission issues. I was so happy with the entire crew. The quality is amazing. Now my pathfinder drives much better than before because I added high performance parts. I wasn't sure at first if they would make a difference until now. I highly recommend anyone getting a transmission reman, they ask Them about the TransPro Units they build for any make or model. Best part I have a 3 year nationwide warranty. Thank you so mush - I love you guys at AlltechThe woman partner there is awesome

Alltech Auto Repairs, Service, and Transmissions
Glad to write a review. My daughter had some car issues with a Suzuki 2007. I had to get a water pump and other stuff done which I did at Alltech last summer. Jenny said she was told her transmission was slipping or had some code. I took it to them and I was amazed that they did not even try to sell me a thing. They test drove the car. Reiterated it was not going to need an overhaul. I went back yesterday and all it needed was a component part internal to the transmission which was very inexpensive. In all my ears with mechanics I found most do not understand transmissions. This place is the Best quality and they do everything without outsourcing. I was able to hang out 5 hours and I know they repaired it in the back. I was allowed to see.

Alltech Auto Repairs, Service, and Transmissions
I took my daughters car to Allltech Transmissions after referred from another repair who found a code about the transmission. All I can say is the owners are fantastic. Knowledge Trumps on a Suzuki 2007 vehicle. They build them and repair them and I was pleasantly surprised I left with a repair for $375 - $400 with tax. I was sure it was going to be thousands. Thanks Alltech- I will keep bringing all our cars to you now and I do highly recommend this busy Transmission Shop. Worth the appointment. They got me in within 2 days and I waited but they explained I was very fortunate. Not always the case. I was pleasantly surprised to hear how much less expensive they are since they manufacture them, repair, and rebuild at the shop.

Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
