I had a great experience with Paul Rhein Disposal. The ladies in the office were very helpful and the trash was picked up at the same time every week. They also made sure my trash cans were far enough off the side of the road. I think this is a great small town business.

OK, please make sure you shred your trash if you have these people. They WILL go through your garbage. I received a letter from them that MY trash was found in another customers account, and that they would close that other customers account if it happened again. That other customer was my mother. I probably threw something out at her house, in her trash can when I visited. Apparently this company went threw my mothers garbage, found something with my name and address on it, and then sent me a letter. What a bunch of creepy freaks. Please SHRED your bills and important documents if you have this company; oh, and when you have guests, NEVER allow them to throw out anything in your garbage. Apparently they will have to take their used paper plate home with them to throw out.

Rick Rhein Disposal
We've used Rick Rhein Disposal for approximately ten years now and they've never ceased to amaze us. This morning hubby realized he forgot to put the cans by the road and left them in the driveway instead. This is the second time this has happened and they actually went and got the cans (in the rolling cage thing we keep our cans in) and still emptied them! We've NEVER had a problem with them leaving messes or not taking things. They honestly have never passed by our bins or left anything behind, not even once! Even if our payment was very late or if we did a lot of cleaning and had a TON of garbage out there!! It's amazing to have such a no fuss experience with any business; no matter what type. There's usually always at least SOME problems with incompetence and other random douchebagginess but seriously, none here... We're moving out of state and we realize how much we've appreciated them.
Tips & Advices
Dumpster-rental costs vary widely, depending on how long you'll need the dumpster and what size you choose. They are typically rented out on a per-week basis. Common sizes include:
  • 10 yards: Can hold about three pickup trucks' worth of trash
  • 20 yards: Can hold 4 tons of trash
  • 30 yards: Can hold about nine pickup trucks' worth of trash
  • 40 yards: Can hold about 12 pickup trucks' worth of trash
The most popular size is the 20-yard dumpster, which is used for outdoor projects or home remodels. Bigger options, like the 30- and 40-yard dumpster, are used for major home renovations. If your project or event will be completed in one day, it might be more cost effective to pay for a junk removal service.
Some materials, like broken pieces of wood or boards with nails sticking out, should be directly disposed of into your rented dumpster or a designated waste pile. Be sure everyone working with you knows where this is. Also, see that everyone is wearing protective clothing, close-toed shoes, work gloves, and safety goggles.
If you are handling asbestos on your own:
  • Wear protective clothing and a respirator or face mask.
  • Double wrap the material in plastic and seal it.
  • Do your best to keep the material whole; don't break it apart, and if any remains on the walls, gently remove with water.
  • Batteries
  • Pesticides, insecticides and other pest-controlling poisons
  • Herbicides
  • Flammable liquids, including lighter fluid, carpet cleaner, brake fluid, household cleaners and waterproofing sealers
  • Latex-based paint, paint thinners
  • Chemical drain cleaners
  • Broken thermometers
  • Motor oil and oil filters
  • Wear gloves and a mask.
  • Keep waste in a well-sealed container.
  • Clearly label the container with a waterproof label.
