Rmb Auto Repair
The brakes on my 2001 Chevy Impala started making a grinding noise so I called RMB Auto to get an estimate. I was told to bring my car in and someone would look at it right away, and there was no cost for the estimate. I dropped it off on my lunch break and got a call back within an hour to let me know exactly what parts were needed and how much everything would cost. I checked the price with a local dealership and they were asking almost twice what RMB quoted. When I called back they told me it would be done before the end of the day and they also offered to pick me up from work! I've been driving with the new brakes for several weeks and everything feels great. There is absolutely no squeaking of any kind. I would definitely recommend this place for both price and service. It was refreshing to get someone on the phone who explained everything in plain English, answered my questions without rushing me off the phone and when I picked my car up the owner had taken the time to look everything else over to let me know what things might need service in the future without trying to sell me on anything. He told me that if I ever had any problems I could bring it back and they would check it out at no charge. This is exactly why I support local businesses and am so happy I found this shop. I will definitely be back!!

Shaheen Chevrolet
We couldn't be more happy with Shaheen. Start to finish, they had what we needed. An excellent selection of vehicles caught our interest on their easy-to-use website. We got a follow-up email and call from a REAL person after submitting a question online, and we got an appointment time with sales personnel the next day. He even followed up the next day to make sure our needs had been met. Thank you, Curtis Wicksall! The sales and financing staff went to great measures to help us find and secure a vehicle that met all of our needs -- putting in much more effort than other Chevy dealerships. They took the time to really understand our situation. Thank you Jeff Cords and Joe Green! After staying with us through every step of the purchase process, our primary sales rep followed up a few times to make everything was OK after the sale. When the vehicle called for routine service a little early, he helped to make sure everything would be covered under the warranty. Tremendous thanks to Will Bailey for an outstanding job!Shaheen will be our first stop when we need another vehicle. We recommend them to anyone in the greater Lansing area. This is a great team that works together. They are the best car dealership we''ve ever experienced.- Tim and Brenda

Shaheen Chevrolet
This is the second vehicle I have obtained from Shaheen. This time it was a new 2014 Cruze for my granddaughter to drive. I had leased a 2014 Malibu from the same salesman. Usually I find the process of obtaining a car from a dealership to be quite stressful. In this case it was almost a pleasant experience (Taking on debt is never really pleasant). We had called ahead to the salesperson (Roger Fowler) and he was ready for us when we arrived. After a test drive and our agreement to lease the Cruze Roger took over and pretty much had everything ready for us to sign the papers and take the car the next day. He even went over the car beforehand and found a couple of blemishes that he said the dealership would fix. My granddaughter is now driving the car and is extremely happy. All we have left to do is return to the dealership so Roger can go over all the capabilities of the car ( she wasn't available when we picked up the car or he would have done it then). All in all a very good experience.

Crippen Buick-GMC-Mazda-Volvo
When looking for a new vehicle my husband and I stopped into Crippen. Scott Kemp pleasantly greeted us. He listened to my needs for a vehicle, and then went to work to find me the perfect one. I wanted an Encore, a new Buick vehicle. Scott searched out the exact Encore with what I needed. He did this timely and always making me feel that I was the only customer he had to work with. (Which I know is far from the truth)Scott followed up immediately and with helpful outcomes each time. My husband and I are both driving new Buickā€™s now, he an Enclave and myself the Encore. We would never buy from another dealer and always with Scott. Service and the buying process are above and beyond what you find elsewhere. And if I can mention, I love my Encore!! It is the luxury and quality of Buick, a zippy fun crossover, and a great price!Thank you Scott Kemp and Crippen for making it fun to buy and drive!!

Denny's Auto Diagnosis
My son is a college student in Lansing and developed car trouble last Wednesday. We got his car towed to Denny's on Thursday. They received it around noon. My son was back in his car at noon on Friday and able to come home for the Easter weekend. When you are trying to handle a car repair from from a distance it becomes doubly hard because you don't know who to trust to get the job done right and on short notice. The tech. at Denny's called me when he figured out the problem, was very good at going through the diagnostics with me, and had the car fixed the very next day. I felt like I could trust them which means a lot. If my son's car develops further problems I will not hesitate to call Denny's again.

Schep's Garage
I've been taking my car to Tony at Schep's Garage for 5+ years. My dad is a car guy and a mechanic, but is too far away for me to take my car to him. Tony is the next best thing to having Dad work on my car. I have always run quotes for auto work past my dad before agreeing to anything, and in the past he's saved me multiple times from paying too much or getting unnecessary work done. But not with Tony - his diagnoses and prices have always been 100% Dad approved. I know I can trust him. And I've always been very pleased with his work and customer service. He goes above and beyond for me every time. I recommend Schep's to my friends all the time.

Shaheen Chevrolet
Just made my first purchase from them this last week. Greg over there was very helpful and wasnt pushy like all of the other dealers i went to. He gave me all of my options within my price range and was upfront with all of the pros and cons of each vehicle (most of which i already knew). Since i am a first time buyer at a dealership they definitely have me for life now. I would recommend anyone to go there and speak with greg. You wont be disappointed.

Shaheen Chevrolet
Started with internet contact with Lori. She turned me over to Garrett in used vehicle sales. From my first contact with Lori through my NEW leased vehicle delivery walk thru with Garrett....I became a Shaheen Chevrolet fan. I used to buy a new vehicle every couple years so I am no stranger to the sales game. Garrett, by far, is thee best salesman and representative of his dealership that I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
