I work for a local ambulance service here in Lansing and on 8/23/17 at approximately 3:00 PM myself, my partner, and a new employee we were training came in to get lunch in between calls. The gentleman behind the counter didn't seem to want to take our order but after several minutes finally took my coworkers orders. When I stepped up to order he wouldn't even let me talk. He demanded to know my name and then started yelling at me about violating patients rights. I was trying to remain calm and professional, but he was being very rude. The guy behind me made a comment about were we socializing or ordering at which point I tried to order, he then threw my change at me, went to fill a drink and proceeded to throw the ice across the counter. At that point I got mad and yelled for a manager. When the manager came up front she had him step to the side and told us she didn't know what happened but to just drop it. I said "your employee verbally assaulted me and became physical by throwing things and I need to drop it?" I then told her I wanted my money back and I would never return and she said ok and gave me my money back but still didn't apologize or do anything to the employee that was still yelling at me. I feel every single person working needs to be held responsible for this incident. The employee who assaulted me, the manager that was oblivious to everything going on, and the 2 other employees that stood there watching and did nothing to defend or protect us or get the manager to stop the situation.
THIS MCDONALDS IS HORRIBLE IN EVERY WAY!!! AT 5PM SUNDAY 12/21/14, i WENT THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH (which WAS busy I admit) and ordered 3 (THREE) FILET OF FISH SANDWHICHES, A MED FRY, AND A SMALL FRY. i was happy they were moving line along nicely. BUT it got to ME...and they had me pull forward because they didnt have the fish ready. about 6minutes later my food was walked out. NO COMMENT LIKE, "SORRY FOR YOUR WAIT"...i GOT HOME TO TWO VERY OLD TOUGH FISHWHICHES AND ONE FRESH ONE., ALONG WITH OLD FRIES. COME ON?!!!! THEN I GET HOME TO CALL THIS FRANCHISE FIVE TIMES TO TALK TO A MANAGER.....NO ANSWER TO ANY OF THE TIMES I CALLED. NEW MANAGER AND WORKERS NEEDED AT THIS STORE. SAD.....VERY SAD.....
I'e seen a few of you think other McDonald's are the slowest in Lansing, I'm sorry, you're incorrect. Without a doubt, THE WORST McDonald's in the Lansing area is N. Larch! The WORST customer service, the SLOWEST order taking, food delivery. People move as if they were in slow motion, no one cares how many people are waiting or how fresh the food is. If I could, I'd give this store, the staff and the management a -(minus) 5 star rating. Shame on you.
