Olsen Mastermark Company
I am very satisfied with my experience with Olsen Mastermark and definitely am pleased with the new windows. The product was better than another local competitor, and so was the cost! I had 8 windows replaced and am looking forward to a much warmer winter with lower heating bills. The installer, Jim, was on time and stayed late to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. Jim was professional, worked quickly and cleaned up immaculately. When he left, there were no nails, scraps, metal or anything left behind to clean up The salesperson, Tracy, was very informative and educated me about the different options available that best fit my needs and budget. He was honest and demonstrated excellent work ethic. The account manager, customer service, as well as the installer were all very professional, polite and helpful. I would go with Olsen Mastermark again if I needed other work for my home. Would definitely recommend to others looking to replace windows!

Glass Doctor of Lansing, MI
We had Trevor replace one kitchen window today. He was very polite and professional. He was early for his appointment and finished the job up quickly. I was very impressed how he worked in a clean manner..... not messy at all. I will recommend this company to anyone I here is looking for this type of service. Also Lilly who scheduled the appointment is very polite and friendly. Thanks again... five stars all the way from the first call to the job being finished.

Great Company! Has a service department that does smaller jobs as well! Hard to find a company that stands behind their work on small jobs!

Came in as the lowest quote of $6,000. Was in and out in a day and everything looks awesome. Thanks.
Tips & Advices
Windows that open from the top are safest for children, assuming the child can't reach the opening. Parents who have windows that open from the bottom or sides can childproof them with wedges or window guards.
  • How long have you been in business?
  • Do you have any references or past work I can see?
  • Do you provide free estimates?
  • How much will the project cost?
  • When will the project be completed?
  • Is the crew hired or contracted, and do you conduct background checks?
  • Who will be in my home?
  • Do you offer a warranty?
Not necessarily. Unless all the windows are equally damaged or pose equal danger, homeowners can stagger their replacements to suit their budget.
  • Wood frames are beautiful and can be customized with paint and stains, but they also expand and contract as the weather changes. They're also susceptible to rot, mold, and pests. As such, wood frames require constant maintenance.
  • Vinyl frames are far more durable than wood. They resist moisture and are usually created with ultraviolet light stabilizers. This prevents the sun from damaging the frames over time. In addition, vinyl frames can be filled with insulation.
  • Aluminum frames are light and weather resistant, but they also conduct heat rapidly.
  • Fiberglass frames are the sturdiest option. Like vinyl options, they can be filled with insulation. Fiberglass frames also resist weather damage and do not crack, peel, expand, contract, bend, or warp.
Single-pane windows use one sheet of glass. Double-pane windows use two sheets of glass held together by a sealant. A small space between the panes is filled with air or gas to minimize the transfer of heat. Triple-pane windows add another sheet of glass and insulating space.
