These guys are real professionals. I thank God for not going through all of the drama that I have seen and experienced with other tow yards. Their 30 + years of business experience really stands out...clean, courtious and prompt service. There was also an evaluation about the real condition of my vehicle. They even referred me to other prominant shops that could assist if I needed it.Thank you Sierra Towing, keep up the great service!!! A+

Horrible company! I broke down on the 14 freeway once the truck showed up he backed up to my car and then called me and said f*** you I'm not taking your car because you're not paying and the funny part is I was using my roadside service through my insurance company he then took off and I had to call to get another tow truck I broke down at 8 o'clock and didn't get picked up until 11

One of the drivers just cut me off from the inside lane on the roundabout, i was on the ouside lane to go right on 50th like your supposed to be and he was on the inside lane and completely cut me off with my kids in the car. I called and all they said was they'll talk to him. All these complaints and i bet nothing has happened to them. Learn how to drive!!

Ridiculous. ..I waited 2 hours..made 3 calls to my roadside assistance and each time the tow company said they'll be there in about 10 minutes they never showed up so I cancelled them. My roadside assistance call someone else and they were here in 20 minutes

"Awarded for best customer service CA #373924"?!?! I'm only giving them one star because I can't give them ZERO stars!!I placed the initial call for roadside assistance to my insurance company at 11:08 this morning. The tow truck didn't arrive until 2:45 this afternoon, and that was after multiple phone calls to my insurance company, the tow truck company, and the tow truck driver, who could barely speak English and couldn't follow simple directions. The female representative who answered the phone at the office was exceedingly rude and LIED to my insurance company and to me multiple times. I will be contacting my insurance company immediately and requesting that they no longer contract with this company, and I advise anyone reading this to stay as far away from them as possible.

Tips & Advices
Yes, most roadside assistance coverage plans offer towing services. There might be certain restrictions, however. For example, the plan may only cover towing services for a certain number of miles. Drivers should check with their providers for details.
Which cars are covered depends on the roadside assistance provider. AAA services are available to members and not specific to any vehicle. As long as members pays their dues and have their membership card on hand, they can use AAA for someone else's car. Generally, auto insurance plans cover the car itself, not the driver, so people can't use their roadside assistance for another. However, details vary between providers, plans and local laws. Drivers should consult with their insurance providers to see whose cars are covered.
Roadside assistance coverage varies depending on the provider. However, they generally include:
  • Tire change
  • Battery jump start
  • Towing services
  • Locksmith service
  • Minimal mechanical labor
  • Delivery of oil, fuel, batteries or other parts
If a driver has a flat tire and no spare, roadside assistance services can deliver a new one. However, these services will not pay for the cost of the tire. That will be the driver's responsibility. Based on the location, some will tow a car to a tire dealer.
Most roadside assistance plans offer gas delivery and service. However, clients are generally responsible for the cost of the gas.
