If I could give 0 stars for professionalism, I would. A sales team came to my door, asked to look at my floor, and without even asking, told me that another salesman was coming into clean the floor. I told him immediately I was not purchasing anything, and he said that was fine, he just got paid to clean. Once I finally stopped him from cleaning because I had to feed my child, he had his "manager" come in, an aggressive, extremely unprofessional man who told me he had talked to my husband outside, and he said I could buy whatever I wanted. My husband was busy working, so when the "manager" suggested we bring him inside to talk about the purchase, I said no. This man kept urging the salesman to go get my husband, despite me consistently saying no. He ignored me like I was not even there. Then, he assumed my husband made more money than me to my face, said he knew I was "one of those" (talking about me being frugal), said we looked like we made too much money to not purchase a "small ticket item" (talking about the vacuum, which was $2,500), and then made faces at the salesman while I was talking to him about lower pricing. If you respect yourself as a customer at all, do not allow yourself to work with ANYONE from this company.
Tips & Advices
The most common vacuum cleaner problem is lack of suction. Other frequent problems include a burning smell (usually a problem with the brush roll or the belt connecting it to the motor), excessive noise, unusual vibrations when starting, and the always-popular brush roll not rolling. Most of these are easy fixes and can be as simple as switching out the bag.
It’s time to replace the vacuum bag is when the vacuum’s performance is dropping. A full bag reduces a vacuum's ability to remove more dirt and debris--because there is nowhere to store it anymore. You might also notice less suction and more debris coming out of the vacuum.
The biggest benefit of bagless vacuums is not buying replacement bags (you just saved money!)But they tend to have more filters (HEPA filters) that need to be periodically removed and cleaned, so there’s more maintenance.
The most frequent causes of loss of suction in a vacuum cleaner is filter blockage and a clogged hose. These are usually easy fixes you can do yourself. If the motor has failed, however, that is a much larger problem that will require a technician or a new vacuum.
If a customer cannot find or does not have the owner's manual for his or her vacuum cleaner, it can usually be found online on the manufacturer's website.
