Front Range Gutter West
Had gutters replaced and noticed after the first rain one was sloped incorrectly causing water to pool at end of the gutter. After contacting Tom and being told he would come out to look and repair I never heard from him again. Have left many voicemails and no response. Lesson learned, do not use this company for gutters.

A-1 Roofing
A 1 Roofing's sales person take $1800 in advance for repair materials and leave the company. The company and owner denied such a liability, and not respond to any resolution. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

Any Weather Roofing
I called Any Weather Roofing for an estimate on my patio roof. When Steve, the owner, came out he noticed prior hail damage to my house’s roof. I called my insurance company. Any Weather roofing worked with me and my insurance company through the complete process. I knew the exact cost of the roof and there was no money until the job was done. That made me confident and comfortable in doing business with them.

Diamond Exteriors
Beware!! Huge Scam. They kept our down payment and did not do any work. Our lawyer is trying to contact them and they are no where to be found. You can call them but not locate them. If you look in their history they have changed their company name three times. I wish I knew this earlier.

A-1 Roofing
This is a horrible company! Doug in scheduling is very rude, dishonest and is very lousy at his job.You may want to check them out on the BBB as well. Their are too many other companies in this area who want your business and work hard to please their customers. I have called for two weeks trying to get on the schedule after a contract was signed over two months ago. Doug was always going to call back (and never returned one of my calls, I know for a fact because I logged my correspondence with them) I left a msg with Doug to have the owner Mike O'Donnell to please call, he never returned my call as well. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Find someone else for your roofing needs.

Front Range Gutter West
Front Range Gutter West replaced my gutters last fall after the flood. Two sections are still leaking and causing serious flooding to my house. After three attempts (and promises from Tom), they still have not made the repairs. The final attempt to resolve the issue was an appointment booked on Oct 1, 2014 at 4 pm. No one showed up and there was no contact to reschedule. Do not use this company.

Continental Roofing Pros
Dear Sir:RE:Ben Hogan and Continental Roofing Pros 7500 W Mississippi Ave, Lakewood, CO(303) 800-8276, ext 421; 303-994-8569Email - ben@continentalroofingpros.comhttp://www.continentalroofingpros.com/http://www.facebook.com/continentalroofingprosIn July of 2012, this roofing company was hired to repair and replace our home's damaged roof.On 10/28/12, the work on our roof by Continental Roofing Pros ended. On 10/30/12, Ben Hogan and his company were paid in full for the job.Over the next nine months, I never heard from Mr Hogan. On 8/8/13, the City of Parker, CO notified me that we had an outstanding roof permit. On 8/8/13, later that same day, Ben Hogan was made aware via voice mail and email that Continental had never obtained the final inspection - which is their responsibility. I asked that he take care of the problem and finish their job. Additional email and voice mail requests for Continental Roofing Pros to finish their job and obtain the final inspection were ignored. On 8/27/13, I requested and obtained a roof inspection. Our roof FAILED the inspection and the code requirements of the City of Parker, CO.Requests for Continental Roofing Pros to finish their job, correct the deficiencies and honor their warranty via phone and email were unfulfilled. On the morning of 9/21/13, three weeks later, another roofing company was hired to finish Continental's incomplete job and correct all deficiencies. Presidential Roofing did an awesome job!On the afternoon of 9/21/13, a final inspection was made and our roof met Parker, CO code requirements. Please be aware of Continental Roofing Pros' poor, unethical and possibly illegal business practice. Also, make note that this company does not honor and falsely advertises a 10 year warranty.Sincerely,Louis G Arvanetes
Tips & Advices
The most common types of roofing material are:
  • Asphalt shingles
  • Metal roofing
  • Slate shingles
  • Concrete roofing
Metal roofing material and algae-resistant asphalt shingles are the appropriate roofing material for rainy climates.
Houses located in  areas which are prone to wildfires, should avoid the use of flammable roofing materials such as wood shingles.
Not only should you ask to get in contact with past clients, it is also recommended that  homeowners visit projects currently underway to see how the contractor or company actually performs during a job. You can also go online and check out other customer reviews.
Reputable roofers do offer a warranty against poor workmanship. Additionally, the material used often carries a warranty from the manufacturer against defects (assuming proper installation). It is the homeowner’s responsibility to check on the availability of all such warranties before any work is performed.
