After contacting the dealer on Car Gurus and getting an email from Amy saying the Jeep Renegade was in stock, I decided to call the dealer after seeing the reviews that sometimes the vehicle was not in stock. On the phone, Crystal said it was available and set up an appointment for the morning. Then in the morning, I asked about the vehicle via text and nothing was said about it being unavailable. When I got there, the salesman said the Jeep needed parts that were on back order. I should have left then, but I was already there, and I test drove a couple vehicles. The sales manager tried to convince me to take home a car I didn't like then said they would try to find me a vehicle I liked. I asked about the Renegade, and the manager said the Jeep was missing a part that had been on back order for a month. I did not like these tactics and will not return.

As a long time avid car collector and business man my experience to try purchasing a classic Pontiac from this facility was not only at the up most disappointing but a true reality that Primo Classics is no different than most of these type of resale outlets. The salesman played games with my time and clearly did NOT take me seriously as a out of state buyer with questions about the car I inquired upon. Bottom line is these classic car facilities have proven time and time again that the low hanging fruit is all what there after in this classic car game, it's about lining there pockets full of your hard money as conveniently possible for them. There not there for the real enthusiast or anybody else with further questions Just the money, PURE FACT! . Buy or beware with Primo Classic!!!

Every thing you needed was done. I did buy this car after matching up all things on 4 or 6 cars. This car had the things I wanted on this car. I will only need to do 2/3 small things that I want on a car to drive for fun. I did do a lot of looking about 3 weeks. They sent me more information on e mail that was not on the website, big help with what it showed. So yes this was a good place to work with, Dan was just fine....

Bought a new Solstice ...4 recalls on this auto but only notified once by dealer. Involved in an accident, air bags did not deploy, bags never replaced. Had A/C problems 4 yrs back, Regal said it was compressor/condenser...had them replaced for $1800 but that was not the problem. Regal then replaced a switch - that was not the problem - cost $600 to me. On 3d try they replaced a switch for free - that was the problem. Is this a racket? Why 3 tries before the problem was corrected and why at my expense?

Poor business practices by the finance manager Jim. The night we signed the papers for a used Honda CR-V, he rushed through and didn't review any of the paperwork. Since we are trusting people, we believed he gave us the deal of 60 months/$340 per month that was verbally agreed to with the salesman. After all signatures were complete, he said he couldn't give us copies until the next night when we picked up the car. Ok, we are again trusting his word. Next night, he comes out of his office and says he doesn't have time but that he will mail them to us right away. 7 days later, we still don't have paperwork so we contact him and he again said he will mail. 10 days later we finally find out that he didn't mail anything but we could pick them up. Upon review, the deal wasn't even close to the verbal deal and much higher on both months and $$$. He lied again, saying he couldn't do anything until accounting was in the office weekdays. 1 weekday later and still no answer so we call to return the vehicle since we are VERY unhappy with the business dealings. Now we are told we can't return it but they can give us a refund on some of the extra items he tacked on. So, if you are contemplating anything with the finance department, watch yourself and everything they tell you. BEWARE! Don't trust them with their word. Their words are not worth ANYTHING!

Horrible experience. Beat around the bush. Never answered the questions we asked. Amount online and what they said we were going to have to pay was about at $6000 difference. First off, we had an appointment and we were waiting 15 min inside, then another 30 min outside the lot until someone finally came out. When the guy came out, he was smoking a cigarette, saw us looking at him and put it out. Got the stock number, said be right back and lit the cigarette again and hit it three times before he went to walk inside. Went inside, came back out and lit the cigarette AGAIN before coming toward us. Told us they were here to make sure we got the best deal. Instead of running our credit one time to all banks, they ran it FOUR individual times. They just ripped out a piece of paper, put an x and a line and said to sign. That felt EXTREMELY deceiving. They were focused on selling a car, rather than talking to us as a possible valued customer. We're very adamant about not letting us work with our bank. Took 3 times for them to listen to us that we were NOT first time buyers and already had a loan before because they were trying to stick us with the highest payment. That is what it felt like. He also said that eventually we were going to have to deal with the high fees for the first year and really were going to go have to go through him eventually. We don't HAVE to do anything we don't want to. The guy said he has to sell 2 more cars by the end of the day so what were we deciding and When we said we would be back in 2 days (because we had drove 2 hours to get there) the guy got red in the face, shook hands, and walked away real quick to go to the table directly next to us and started with the same speech to them. Felt extremely unwelcome and not valued at all. Super unprofessional.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
