I went in for an eye infection. There were two young gentlemen ahead of me, and no one else in the waiting room. I waited about 15 minutes before being called back. then they kept me 45 minutes sitting in a room, and taking patients who came in after me. Very unprofessional, I finally walked out and got my money back. Will never go back, stay away from this place. Go to the one before Lake Miriam shopping center, never had an issue there. I would have gone there but they close early on Saturday.

Took my son here back in February for a sinus infection. The list of fees on the wall of the facility indicated that the charges would be around $80 for a visit of this sort. I was told that they accepted our insurance. The doctor was nice enough. My son was diagnosed with a sinus infection and an antibiotic was prescribed. Because he had also been exposed to mono, a test was done for that and came back negative. There were no other patients at the facility that I saw...we were in & out in under 30 minutes. Well...since then, I found out that they are not in the network for our insurance which is my bad....I should have checked before going. But, they tried to file the visit under my husband's name for $181. I took the statement in and spoke with the receptionist about the error and the incorrect charge. I was told that they would fix it. Now, it's October and I'm receiving another bill for $181 office visit charge. I think this place is running a scam. Overcharging patients big time. I will never go back to this place again!

I've been coming here for a few years. Never had any major problems. It is a very busy office. Even the wait isn't to bad. No longer than any other doctors office. Never had any problems getting my scrips called into my pharmacy. Nice people under very stressful conditions.

After reading previous post re the employees rude behavior and lack of professionalism; I have to agree, wholeheartedly that these young girls, require a jump start in "Working Within A Professional Office and What Not To Do!" Hanging up on patients is bad behavior and will get you fired in a New York second....within any other business but if the office manager, Diane, can hang up on patients, fellow employees will follow suit. Lack of courtesy, rudeness of any sort, failure to perform your job, i.e., filling prescription request, should be just cause for immediate dismissal. What is ironic, is the tests required of the physician and based upon these tests, it may require medication. I've been out for weeks now and a call placed prior to July 4th has yet to be filled. Tracey seems to be the rudest of them all and this is her job. Take it from me, if your living depends on medication, forget this place. It's not a medical facility, rather a kindergarten.

Do not go here! Last resort only. We waited 3 hours and when we finally were seen Dr. Parker was extremely rude. He spent all of 30 seconds with us and gave us an attitude when we asked a question, that he thought he had already answered. Apparently he skipped the class on bedside manner! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Do not use these people, they have no idea what insurance they accept, its all about the $$for these doctors. Don't waste your time. They accepted prestige and I was told by BILLING they accept it, but doctors told staff not to. Guess prestige don't pay enough.
Tips & Advices
Urgent care is best for cases with low risk or impact, like a bad , but not life-threatening, cut to the finger. However, if you experience difficulty breathing, speaking, seeing, or chest pains, visiting an emergency room is likely the safest decision.
Trauma surgeons are those who perform urgent operations. Their duties often differ in that the majority of their work occurs in the operating room, while ER physicians mostly work on the hospital floor.
Emergency room physicians work long, intensive hours, often in 12-hour shifts. While not every shift may be that long, the profession requires large time commitments from both doctors and nurses.
Many emergency room patients can be treated and sent home on the same day, but those requiring extended stays or outpatient procedures that require hospitalization may need to stay a few days to a week, or longer, depending on severity of the condition.
Licensed physicians and nurses are responsible for treating and caring for patients, as well as ensuring their safety. Patients may also come under the supervision of surgeons.
