This was my first time at Luis my mechanic. As soon as I waled in I was greeted promptly by Luis, dude you're the man. He helped me out the right way, was very personable and knew how to deliver customer service. I'll be back for sure just because of you... reception area was very clean with a TV and amazing selection of magazines for a auto shop. The prices are great (nothing compare to a dealership) and he's fast and does a great job. I brought my car just for an oil change (he doesn't know but I know about part and brands) he put synthetic oil and a good brand oil filter (nothing compare to walmart LOL) In addition to that he checked the tires pressure and did a quick inspection. He said my car was in a great condition but there was a stud in one of my tires, he took care of it for free!!! I love him and my fiancee was so happy with the job he did. We definitely coming back again with another one of our cars, for now on he is my personal mechanic. Thanks Luis !!!From the Lennon's

Fabricante Auto Body
Great Service! I took my car here after it was involved in an accident. Some guy hit me from behind and did a bit of damage. I spoke to Eric Gates and he made me feel comfortable about leaving my 2003 Acura 3.2TL Type S in their hands. After a few days i got my car back and she was as good as new. I refer all my friends and family to Fabricante Auto Body and their parent company Prestige Auto Collision in Mission Viejo. Believe it or not my cars been to both locations. There's people out there who just needs to pay attention while driving!!!!

Oc Auto Care
The owner of this auto repair shop is very nice and polite. I went in because I had some noise in my engine. Was afraid I might be needing a major repair. Mory the owner diagnosed the engine and told me I just need to use premium gas from now on instead of the regular. He poured a can of engine cleaner in my gas tank and took the car for a short test drive. To my surprise the noise was gone and the whole thing cost me less than $50. If you are looking for an honest auto repair shop give the guys at OC Auto Medics a call. You won't regret it.

Orange County Auto Glass Repair
Thank you Drew for saving my windshield. I had just purchased a new vehicle and after a huge rain storm rocks were flying everywhere. One put a nice ding in my windshield. I thought I would have to replace my very expensive windshield but low and behold you saved the day! Great job, fast service and on time! I would highly recommend OC Auto Glass Repair and people should know they need take care of these cracks right away otherwise they grow and become more expensive to fix. Thanks Drew!

V-Tech Automotive
My family and I have been taking our vehicles to Kourosh, the owner of V-Tech, for almost 30 years. He is honest, fair, dependable and affordable, and has an excellent crew. He'll tell you when you need something done right away, or when you can hold off. He's never tried to oversell me on anything. I've recommended many people to his shop over the years, and I always get thank you's and positive comments back regarding his services from those people as well.

Purrfect Auto Service
Finally -- a place that I can trust. Went for brake repair on my Miata, and was told I should change shocks on front and back and all brakes -- BUT for sure, you need brakes on front to be safe, and when you can afford it, come back and get the other items taken care of... I have been going back there for 4 years now -- great mechanic and always helpful within my budget!

Hammer will quote you the best price and make sure you leave happy. he works quickly and explains everything to your satisfaction. my mother got her brakes done a couple weeks ago, and I decided to give them a try. it was well worth it. ceramic brakes are lifetime guaranty, which is great since I live on a hill and need brakes every year.

Midas Auto Service Experts
I had to get brakes done on my truck, they were awesome! Honest, told me about future needs and what I could wait on. It is refreshing to get the kind of service I received from this team, especially due to the horrible service station I left before going here. They have renewed my faith.

These guys are honest and reliable. I've taken my Mercedes, Ford F-150, and my daughters Audi...they're always fair and always do top of the line work. If you can go here then do it. Waise is a brilliant mechanic.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
