Jarrell Orthodontics
We recently went to Dr. Jarrell's office for a second opion for my daughter's path of treatment for severe crowding. Our pediatric dentist wanted to pull four baby teeth and then extract four adult teeth as well. Dr. Jarrell proposed a new solution without extracting anything for the time being. His office was easy to work with, the staff was gracious and helpful and we are thrilled with our experience. Denise was delightful and I cannot say enough about how at ease she made both my daughter and myself.

My 11 year old son got his braces on today. He was very nervous! But, Maribeth took great care of him! Her sweet, relaxed, professional attitude kept him calmed and relaxed. I could tell by the way he kept giving us a thumbs up!! Also it was the first time my husband spent anytime in the office. He was very impressed with the professional, courteous atmosphere of the whole office! Dr Jarrell is awesome! They took a lot of time explaining everything they were doing and we never felt rushed!

They did a good job of performing a procedure to get my daughter prepared for removal of her braces. Our only disappointment is that we were given earlier time frames of having the braces come off only to have to wait longer, but the reality is that it was an estimated time frame based on her teeth and progress. We have had a great overall experience with Jarrell and appreciate how promptly and courteously they treat us.

The office is quite efficient. They are friendly and organized. They remember who you are!! The flow of the office is marvelous and the staff all educate you on every aspect of your appointment and your upcoming appointments. They are very knowledgeable. Dr Dobbs is very nice and takes his time with you, he acts like he has all day to discuss your care. I highly recommend them!

" We are always welcomed with a friendly smiling face. Dr. Kevin is a hoot. My daughter feels very comfortable with all of the staff. She loves the trivia games and all the cool contests that they have going on. Never a dull moment. Love this place. I recommend it to anyone that is looking for an orthodontist that truly cares. "

Jarrell Orthodontics
We just started at Jarrell Ortho and have been very happy with our first two appointments. My son is nervously looking forward to getting his braces soon. Thank you also to the whole staff for a fun Beach Bash at Kokomo Beach. Both of my kids had a great time.

Everyone is always very nice and professional when we come in. Brian's Balloons was there and my son had fun watching him make balloons for other kids and enjoyed his tiger cub. The service is always fast and on-time...we never have to wait!

Tips & Advices
This depends on the prosthetic.
  • Dental implants, when cared for properly, can last a lifetime.
  • Crowns typically last between 10-15 years.
  • Resin-bonded bridges typically last between seven  and 10 years. Tooth-supported fixed bridges generally wear out faster than this.
  • Removable partial dentures typically last around 15 years.
  • Complete dentures typically last between five and six years.
The entire process for adding dental implants could take as long as eight months. There are three phases:
  • Phase 1: Grafting. This may take between three and six  months.
  • Phase 2: Artificial root placement. This may take one to two  hours to complete and will take between three and six  months to heal.
  • Phase 3: Crown placement. This is usually done over the course of two visits, two weeks apart.
One dental implant typically costs $1,000-$3,000. However, the abutment (a connector added onto the top of a dental implant) and crown can add $500-$3,000. Multiple dental implants may cost $3,000-$30,000. A full set of implant dentures may cost as much as $90,000, though the average is around $34,000.
A dental implant is a titanium post shaped like a natural tooth's root that is surgically inserted into the jawbone beneath the gums. These posts allow dentists to secure a replacement tooth or bridge in the correct position.
Maxillofacial prosthesis is a subspecialty of prosthodontics. A maxillofacial prosthesis is meant to rehabilitate patients who have defects or disabilities due to trauma, disease, or those that a patient is has from birth. The prosthesis is designed to replace parts of the bone or tissue that are missing, or to help restore functions of the mouth, such as swallowing, chewing, or speaking. Other prostheses are created to protect the face during radiation therapy. Dentists that work with maxillofacial prostheses often collaborate closely with ear, nose, and throat doctors.
