WOW! Internet- Cable- Phone
I've had WOW! internet and cable for nearly two years now because we don't have any other options. This service is pretty terrible. The internet is very slow during evenings and early night, and the internet seems to go out often. Also, the cost of the service is extremely over priced for the quality of the service. The show menu on the cable box only works half the time during the day, to the point where you can't even see what shows are on each channel. Also, every night at midnight the menu routinely stops working because the cable box apparently gets confused for a few hours when the date changes. I'm paying over $100 per month for the most basic cable possible with technology that belongs in the 1980's, and it's 2017.

I switched from Xfinity because the service was slow and they were charging me for going over my 250 meg. cap limit. This is nothing but greed because bandwidth on cable is unlimited. I ditched cable TV and use Netflix and Apple TV. I Chose wow's 110 megabit service for 54 dollars. When tested i always get around 120 megabits. It is fast, really fast and there is no data overage charges.

Since WOW! took over as my ISP from Knology I have experienced a definite decline in the quality of service on both my cable reception and internet. On cable, I have experienced persistent problems with pixilation and sound interruptions, along with problems with DVRs locking up and not being able to play my recorded shows. Taking the DVRs to their local office and swapping them for different units has not solved these problems. I have also had problems with my internet losing connections and slowing while trying to stream video. Repeated calls to technical support have not corrected these problems. I have found them to be generally unresponsive to my complaints. It is so bad that I am considering going back to Comcast, which I swore I would never do because of their horrible customer service. I am definitely not WOWed by WOW!
