This is the second transmission I have had done. This time was an 08 Nissan. The price was good and work was prompt. The only issue I have is they didn't honor their coupon. The coupon said 10% off all parts and labor they only took 10% off the labor said they couldn't take it off the parts. Too bad John seems like a good guy but needs to honor all coupons. It WILL NOT stop me from returning.

YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS. HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY MOTHER..... HE SHOULD BE IN JAIL...
Absolutely ridiculous. We had a transmission replaced less than 13 months ago, now they are saying we need a new transmission. Since our paperwork was lost during the craziness of our move, no compensation or even a simple apology. If a company cannot keep their own records of the vehicles they work on.... well this is just not a reputable company. Please save yourself the money... head on over to another more reputable company, don't deal with the headache and lack of vehicle, we are dealing with.
Great business!! Brought in my fathers Yukon XL Denali that had the transmission MELTED! Jerry and his professional team did a 200/10 job building my new transmission. We picked up the Denali in less than 3 days. It has over performed in ever aspect.
This is the first time I have ever had to have anything this big done on my car and I was terrified being disabled and having limited funds. I just happened to call this place and Jerry, the owner, answered the phone. I was clueless. He spent at least half hour on the phone with me explaining everything and answering questions. My transmission had been "going out" for quite sometime. I needed it fixed right and I needed a warranty to take care of it for a little while. Jerry assured me I would have both. They are wonderful to keep in touch with you during the process to let you know how things are going. John is another one I talked with a few times on the phone and he too, answered all my questions and kept in contact with me until my car was ready. I would be very happy to refer anyone to go there. They are very professional.
The best part of the entire experience was picking up my car yesterday! It is like a new car. A 2001 Honda Accord and it runs like it did 10 years ago when I bought it. I think I had forgotten how bad it was. I am very happy with it. If you have a transmission problem, call Jerry or John and they will be glad to take care of you. I sure am glad I did.
Don't go here. You will be wasting your time and money. These guys charged me 300 dollars just to tell me it was going to cost me $2500. They were nice until I told them that I was not going to do it. Then they were very rude and pushy and told me to get my car out of their lot. Had it repair somewhere else for $750. Wasted $300 on them. What a bunch of crooks.
I had my transmission rebult with this shop, an AL4D, not the best transmission, but these guys were able to build so far very reliable transmission. The price was very far, they had to take parts from another transmisson to use in mine, other shops did not have the hard parts I needed to rebuild mine. I was very happy with the time it took, they had it done within a couple of days. I can not say if this shop is the cheapest as far as price, but I feel a got a fair deal. I will use this company again when I need this type of work.
Don't go here unless you want to be RIPPED OFF ! They kept my car for a week, charged me two thousand dollars, and when I got it back it was still messed up. They refused to honor their warranty. They tried to say it was &quot;an engine problem&quot;. What a lie. When I took it to Transmission Corporation of America they said the transmission had never even been removed. They fixed it for a very reasonable price and I got it back the next day! Thank goodness I found someone I can trust.Business Response05/20/2008
im jerry green the owner of budget transmissions nothing could be further from the truth as to what this guy said he never brought his vechicle back until it was way out of warranty then he said it had a problem but could never get it to do anything i charged him 1200.00 he took it to trans corp they charged him 2500.00 this guy is a liar if you look i have been the winner of better business bureau zero complaint award year after year this guy was the wrong one here there is a reason ive been in business for 20 years without a lawsuit i treat everyone the same and fair this man thought i should change all rules for him not going to happen
