    Armstrong Relocation staff in Knoxville are attentive and friendly until they have your money. I hired them for a cross-country move. The packing crew arrived unprepared and unprofessional. Amid packing, the crew lead asked which furniture pieces were acceptable to leave behind for the sake of space. Uh, I hired you to move ALL of my furniture!? When my belongings arrived at my new home two weeks later, I found nearly 40 damaged items. The packers had thrown numerous large items in the container without any padding or protection; they placed numerous small fragile items (e.g. porcelain) in boxes without any wrapping. I could have hired a crew of 5-year-old children to pack with more common sense. I delayed in writing this review with hope the company would redeem themselves with excellent customer service through the claims process. Instead, I received no apology. They paid only a portion of replacement costs three months post-move. I called the customer service number and a representative said they only discuss claims via email. Three emails later and they have yet to respond to a simple question about the settlement. This was the third time I hired movers for a long-distance move and my first claim for damage. I regret using Armstrong Relocation and my advice is to AVOID ARMSTRONG RELOCATION at all costs!!

    Armstrong estimate was significantly lower then the final cost, even though a detailed inventory was performed for estimate. Items were damaged during the move and settlement, both process and reimbursement was very disappointing.
