The Fresh Market
Fantastic foods especially steaks, seafood, pastries, and just everything in general. A bit more expensive but very much well worth it. Love their king cakes during Mardi Gras!

La Palma De Oro
This is the worst most disrespectful place I have ever been to. After sitting down a friend and I were greeted my a man that had no name badge on (for a reason after our service I'm assuming). As we asked for margaritas we gave him our IDs, in which I turned 21 on a Saturday (which I am now 23) so I have a red box about my picture that states not 21 until this date (2014). He then tries to accuse us of tricking him into selling me alcohol and that even if I am of age I am required to purchase a new ID just so they can serve me and tells me my ID is not valid. So we ask for a manager since this is the first time since turning 21 someone has questioned my ID so he asks a girl behind the counter who was definitely not the manager and looked 16 and refused to send her over. And states that since I tried to trick him this one time they will let it slide. Then tried to take our order for a margarita with a certain tequila at this point he keeps asking us to repeat even though we are pointing to it on the menu after realizing he didn't understand any English and was going to mess up our entire order after harassing us we left and went to another restaurant and will never be back. Furthermore went to another place down the road where a cop was eating one table over I had HIM check my ID for alcohol and he said it was a perfectly valid ID and clearly he doesn't know what year it is and should not be serving.

El Mezcal Mexican Restaurant
To me, this is the worst Mexican restaurant in Knoxville as far as the food. The salsa is tasteless and bland. It really just taste like tomato sause without anything else much done to it. I ordered a taco salad and it was runny- not crisp and fresh like it should have been. They must use cheap meat because It does not taste good and/ or they dont know how to prepare it. I thought the Chicken and the hamburger meat really tasted bad. The guacamole tastes bland also. I am giving it a one star because the service is decent, the bean dip is decent and the Margarittas are good. I will not go back to this Mexican Restaurant. Most of the food is awful.

The Fresh Market
I love the "Fresh Market " however, the overall selection and quality have gone down. I think they should have stuck with their original concept. Hopefully they will return to their roots.
