Lynnwood Dental - Sara Boren DDS
"I will never go anywhere else, so glad to have found my forever dental home! First visit today and I was absolutely blown away. Dr. Boren, Anville and rest were exceptional. No wait time past my appt. time, Receptionist made me feel like I was important - as the first face of the business this is utmost important and she was lovely. Anville was so gentle, laid back and created a relaxing atmosphere, very caring & sweet. Dr. Boren . . . she did something I always wish my doctors did . . . she actually read my papers BEFORE she came in to meet me! What a great thing it was I didn't have to go over something repeatedly. She very much cares for the patients, all the way to their wait time in the lobby. The office is run in a very organized manner and it looked like everyone was on the same page, keeping up with me through the channels so you shouldn't have any problem of falling through the cracks. Dr. Boren is pure joy to be around and extremely intelligent even beyond dentistry, as in various health conditions and how they affect her side of things. I recommend her & staff with great confidence."

He has been my dentist for years and the only one I would ever go too. My family all rave about how painless his shots are, we hardly ever feel them when we have work done. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.

Madigan Michael P DMD
I absolutely love going to Dr Madigan! In the past, going to the dentist has been a terrible experience for me with my gum recession issues. But Dr Madigan and his staff and beautiful office have me feeling relaxed and happy when I visit. It's a miracle, and it is thanks to his and his staff's incredible training, professionalism, and kind and gentle demeanor. His beautifully decorated office is very relaxing and serene, and puts me at ease the minute I walk through the door. Looks like an upscale spa. I highly recommend Dr Madigan and his staff to anyone with periodontal issues. They will even clean your teeth - way better and more gently than the dentist. And they really understand gum issues which is essential. They did a beautiful graft for me this summer and it was way easier than I ever expected. The results are amazing! He saved my tooth. I cannot say enough about my positive experience. Thank you to his entire staff.

Jones, Steve DDS
After researching several implant dentists in the area, I began treatment with Dr. Jones and I'm glad I chose him for the work I'm having done. I find him to be knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain all the procedures and options available. His staff is friendly and very professional. Day or night, they are there to answer any questions you have and are willing to help you understand the many options of implants. It also didn't hurt that he gave me a price that was less than all the others in the area, but more importantly, he honors that price and doesn't try to increase it as the procedures move along. I'm totally satisfied with his work and would recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for answers in the implant area.

After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant but I certainly didn't need to be. From the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out, it was a delightful experience and I don't like dentist visits ever. I am looking forward to my next visit and I have never said that about a dental office. I was greeted promptly and cheerfully by the receptionist, called back on time by the hygienist and she was a delight as a person as well as extremely competent at her job. I didn't need anything other than a cleaning and they didn't even try to offer me anything other than what I needed. The dentist, Dr Brown, was quick and cheerful and I left there feeling confident in their abilities and their care of me as a patient.

Kherani, Sonia, DDS
Dr kherani has taken great care of me when I had an emergency. I had a big chip on my front tooth n looked ridiculously funny. Her staff had asked the dr if she can squeeze me in and had made an appt that same day. Dr Kherai took me in fixed me up and barely charged me for the emergency visit. She had stayed late for me where she could have asked me to come in the following day but didn't do that. Ever since then my family n friends whom I referred her to, have been going there for years and we love it there. She's a very friendly, smart, caring, & reputable dentist whom we all are very comfortable going to. Thank you for making our visits at ease.

Hardin Valley Family Dentistry
Staff was more than professional and polite. The tech who did the cleaning was very skilled and courteous. She had a very light touch when cleaning. When someone scrapes your teeth to clean them, it usually is not fun, however in this case, she was very skilled and did not touch a single gum and i was able to relax and sit back. I barely felt her cleanng the teeth. And when the Dr. came in for exam, she was professional and had a great chair side manner. I now take my entire family there. And she is just as good with kids.(mine is 12). Brian k.

Sisk, Stanley DDS
When your dentist retires and you choose to find another one....you don't always think what do I truly want to achieve. When I first walked in Dr Sisk office I was given the usual forms to fill out. With one exception it asked what do I not like about my smile..... Great question! I am now on my way to achieving the fix that will give me my smile back. I greatly appreciate the whole staff at this office and am looking forward to years o smiles with them.
Tips & Advices
  • Pick Your Plan: Most people purchase three main varieties, usually through their employers.
    • An indemnity or fee-for-service plan means you'll have to pay for annual deductibles and co-insurance payments out of pocket.
    • A preferred provider organization is less costly, and you choose from a network of dentists. However, PPOs have some limitations and accompanying deductibles.
    • A dental health maintenance organization plan limits you to just a few choices of dentists, and one doctor handles all of your oral care needs. However, these HMO are usually much less costly.
  • PPO plans and dental HMOs work with only a select number of doctors. While that usually means fewer costs, it also means you have less choice in the dentist who can treat you Before purchasing the plan, you'll receive a list of dentists in each network. From there, you can then pick a plan with doctors who meet your standards and requirements.
  • When picking a plan, you need to look at just how much you'll pay for each and every service. For instance, some plans won't cover your fillings or X-rays, while others may charge more or less for a crown or tooth extraction. You don't want to be caught off-guard by unforeseen charges.
  • If you're truly comfortable with a dentist and you feel he or she can be an ally in your ongoing oral care regimen, then consider signing a plan to just keep that dentist available. That means potentially deal with costs and other insurance-related factors that you might have wanted to. If need be, you might be able to work with the dentist's office to address some of the plan-specific concerns.
  • Ask family, friends or colleagues for recommendations. They will be able to provide details about a dentist's demeanor, operating style and approach to patient care
  • Meet with any prospective dentists to ask about what treatments they perform most often, procedures they're not as familiar with, what accreditation they have or any organizations they belong to and how their offices handles insurance and payments.
  • Consider driving distance, location and office hours.
  • Check With Your State Board: The state board can outline what requirements your dentist must meet and offer information about any discrepancies in the their background and if he or she has faced any disciplinary actions.
  • Remember Your Angles - When brushing your teeth, always place the brush at a 45-degree angle..
  • Don't Forget the Tongue – Your tongue is the largest source of bacteria. Brush it front to back and don't forget the sides.
  • Floss Everyday - Each time you floss, have at least 18 inches of floss available. For optimal control, hold the floss between your thumbs and forefingers.
  • Watch What You Eat - Sugar, alcohol and coffee contain phosphorus. While some can prove beneficial, too much of this chemical can eat away at your teeth and gums.
  • Keep in Mind the Mouthwash - Mouthwash can be helpful if used to supplement proper brushing and flossing. Most mouthwash brands contain chlorine dioxide, a chemical that targets the majority of oral bacterial strains.
Yellow teeth are the result of a number of bad habits, mainly smoking, drinking too much coffee and improper nutrition. Many dentists will treat with a whitening procedure.
These painful bumps are the result of irritation to the soft tissue of your mouth. These sores can make brushing almost impossible. There are a number of different causes for sores, including anemia or a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Your doctor will have to examine the bump, find its cause and then develop a specific treatment plan, including the use of corticosteroids to reduce inflammation or antimicrobial mouthwash.
