AA Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
I hired AA plumbing to cut the concrete and move the water lines in my kitchen. I purchase a condo; I hated the galley kitchen, changed it to and "L - shape" with and Island. They also installed my vessel sinks and water lines in both bathrooms. They were professional, I feel like I have made friends for life. If I need anything I will contact AA Plumbing.PS: I also had a hard time trying to find someone to tile my home. AA plumbing was able to help me, they find a tile guy for me, and my tile is beautiful in my kitchen and both bathrooms

Engert Plumbing & Heating Inc
This company and its employees are outstanding. We've used twice--to undo a handyman's mess in our kitchen and to repair an outdoor connecting pipe to our home misinstalled by the utility, causing a shut-off of our water. They were recommended by a friend, and in both cases came promptly, did outstanding work and charged very reasonable fees. As another reviewer stated, Jennifer was so good at coordinating things, and then the other employees were so professional. If you need plumbers in Knoxville, this should be your company too!

Sanders Plumbing
I have used Sanders Plumbing many times since my first experience with them in the early 2000s. They have done a large remodeling job for me and countless small jobs in our new house which was a foreclosure - leaks, dishwasher installation, replacing faucets, etc. They have always done a great job, and were always there when they said they would come. I trust Sanders Plumbing to always take care of the job at hand in a fast, efficient manner with polite, honest employees. I recommend the to anyone.Cheri McKeever

TERRY BROWN PLUMBING
I've used Terry Brown for all my plumbing needs for years and have never had one problem. He's the kind of reliable person who takes pride in his work that he has come out to our house at almost midnight because he knew we needed his help. We had an issue with our hot water system on Thanksgiving Day and he answered my call and lead me through how to fix the problem. The review from ShellSeeker is completely inaccurate. I HIGHLY recommend Terry Brown plumbing and won't use anyone else.

Haun Plumbing
I'm 68 yrs. old, had 2 toilets that needed work and a leaky kitchen faucet. My first estimate was $760. I said no I couldn't afford it. Then he said $367. and I said okay, still think I got ripped off. He spent 5 minutes (if that) on the kitchen faucet, 5 minutes on one toilet and about 20 minutes on the worst toilet. For that I had to pay $367. I don't know why people like to rip off old women, but they do. I will never use them again and recommend no one else use them.

AA Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
Pete Stiles 6/1/2015AA Plumbing came to our rescue on May 14 when the septic system failed at our cabin on Ft Loudon Lake.. There were able to excavate and install a new drain field within 2 days of my initial call to them. Their price, attention to detail, their professional approach and honesty along with their quick response was greatly appreciated. They stand out in their industry regarding both service and quality.

Dexter and his crew were professional, informative, friendly and caring. Don and his crew came to help finish up. They too were professional, informative, friendly and caring. They did a very nice job replacing the ductwork. Everyone at Hiller is great to work with. We have used them on several projects and repairs. Will definitely use again and would/will recommend.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
Very courteous and professional. Had a broken pipe in the evening that I was able to shut off over night. Called at 8pm and had someone in my home repairing it at 8am the next morning. Pricing was very reasonable and no added on expenses. I will use these guys again. Thanks for your help Garrett, you are an asset to your company.
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
