Alternative Counseling Center
I have been associated with one of the therapists for 20 years. I have worked at two of the places she has worked. I was also a patient. I am simply amazed at how this center works with the at-risk population. Recently divorced and suffered some depression. I wanted my son to see some-one. Colvin Idol was suggested. My child did not believe in counseling and didn't trust any-one. I bribed him for one visit. He has really came a long way. He smiles and gets out of bed and expresses his feelings. He stands up for himself and is now living life instead of existing. He actually says I feel better when we leave and I get to enjoy him as he shares with me on the way home. I remember Colvin Idol from Public T.V. I Had no idea he was doing more for the people in our community. His wife Saroj Chand is remarkable as well. She is from India and very much an advocate for women, children and men. I have been recently aware of the Anger Management Group. I have known of several people ordered by the courts. For those that really want to change, they offered individual counseling. It seems through the grape-vine and personal experiences, the men feel they are really learning something, they never understood things as such as gesturing. They then begin to work on character defects, which we all have. Thanks! Alternative Counseling Center. You are indeed a refuge from many storms.Counseling is not for crazy insane folks, It is at it's best for those those of us who know we need a little help!TracyWe have two blessings in KnoxvilleThe Honorable Bill Swann and Alternative Counseling CenterIf the Judge sends you here remember he really wants to see you make it!

Huntington Place
I am not sure where the two other people live, but I cannot believe they live at Huntington Place. If they do, I would have to say they are not being truthful. First of all, the office staff go out of their way to help me with any problems that arise. I'm not saying that I never have to call in maintenance problems, because while these apartments are very charming, things do tear up. The company has brand new maintenance people and they literally come to my apartment within a couple of hours of me calling in and I have never had to have them come back a second time. I have never felt threatened by neighbors and i know the complex runs criminal checks on people because i recently had a roommate added to my lease. They also just changed pest people and I haven't had any problems with pest. I can only say if people are mad because they did something wrong, please don't take it out on these people. If you want to know what you are getting then go to the apartments and see. someone said they lived there for two years. why? I have lived at Huntington Place two different times and I have sent many friends to live here too, but i only sign a one year lease each time. I would never re sign a lease if i was unhappy.

Windrush Apartments
I have lived here 6 months and the only negative I have found is- the apartment is not insulated very well, especially the living room. The living room patio door and entrance door need to be updated. The cold air comes in from under and around the entrance door. The living room is at least 5 degrees colder that the rest of the apartment. I have a bottom level apartment and the ceiling and walls are not well insulated either. I can hear my neighbors talking through them and, unfortunately, my upstairs neighbor comes in at midnight and exercises till about 2 a.m., then gets up at 5:30 a.m. and starts it all over again. They lift weights and when they put them down, it sounds like a cannon going off. They also use a treadmill or stair climber or something that sounds like their doing jumping jacks at 6 a.m. It shakes the whole apartment, so you can imagine what it sounds like on a Saturday night when they get romantic. They also don't know how to walk up or down stairs, they always run.Other than this problem, the apartment is nice, roomy, and management keeps the grounds clean. They are also punctual about service calls and keeping the noise level down in the complex.

Cherokee Health Systems
I am a patient at the Lenoir city office. I have been in in severe pain in my hip since the second week in July. I went to Lenoir city office. Was given muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory. And told if it was better in two weeks. That I was to call in and they would refer me to a orthopedic Dr. I tried for over a week to get this referral. They just never got this done. I ended up having to go to a walk in clinic because I was hurting so bad. They did exrays and refered me to a orthopedic Dr. He set me up to have a MRI. It was denied by insurance co. Because I didn't meet criteria. To meet criteria I had to be on anti-inflammatorys for six weeks. In the mean time I have had to go to another walk in clinic and three visits to the ER because of pain. Have had additional xrays two seperate ultra sounds.keep be told I need MRI.Now I have now been on anti-inflammatorys as required. Now I can't any help threw Cherokee. Meeting all kinds of resistance. I need your help i have hurt long enoug

Brendon Park Apartments
This place is great!. Maintenance response very fast to service calls even on Sundays after hours. the Apts are in great condition and staff are very nice to everyone. only issues are several of the washers and dryers being out of order but management is going to replace all the units soon with updated ones. The apts feature a nice park like setting and at night the forest glows with the fire flies here. This is a very quiet apt complex during both the day and night. over all a great place to call home.

Creek Ridge Apartments
I've lived at Creek Ridge for 2 years and plan on signing a new lease in a couple months. I was shocked to read the negative reviews. I've never had a bad experience as long as I've lived here. Obviously, maintenance can be slow at times, but other than that I really can't think of any negatives. I think some people are just too picky. This place is clearly not a "luxury" complex, so don't expect that when you move in and you'll be fine.

Fox Lake Apartment Homes
A great place to live! It's in a super convenient location - close to Cedar Bluff Rd. and easy to hope on the interstate, but also very private and tucked away in a nice quiet community of mostly families and couples. I am glad to call Fox Lake my home and definitely recommend it!

Cherokee Health Systems
I was told to call everyday to check because all appointment spots were full, which I did. The second day I called I was given an appointment. I expected to have to call more often, but someone canceled their appointment, that day. It's something we have to deal with in life.

Hillwood Villa Apartments
Moved here a while back and ended up staying because the new owners have put a lot of money into improvements both inside the apartments and on the grounds. New pool is nice. Lots of parking. Close to Ut, downtown and Ijams. Safe and quiet, too. Would recommend
