I visited their on Friday 15 June 2012 on the recomnmendation in Citysearch from 2009. I found Bonnie and karaoke at a quality I would not even want to try with my bad John Denver voice, and, need I say it, a bunch of new friends. Go there, a self-styled neighborhood bar based on the blues, country and friendly folks. My newest best bar in the world. Nice eating places in all directions as this old neighborhood updates itself.

Whenever I'm in TN for business, I stop by The SMB with colleagues to eat and watch sporting events. Never a dull moment! A friendly staff makes boring accountants have fun! The food is excellent! Highly recommended!!

I frequent this bar often....It is by far the only decent bar in knoxville! That is, unless you want to be bombarded by college yuppies, in that case, go to the strip. If you have an ounce of class, get to Sapphire! The bartenders are all hot and they will get you wasted for nothing! Aside from the drinks....THE FOOD! The Chef CHIP has been voted the best chef in Knoxville and they have him! An extensive sushi menu nothing shy of perfection, and a wide array of hot foods, and chill foods such as cheese plates. The best sushi and drinks in town. A full martini list, full mojito lists, 40+ types of wine and I much more! The DJ, DJ 4matiks, will rock your socks off! Get there or stay home!
6.Central Flats & Taps
1204 N Central St
Central Flats & Taps is a not your typical restaurant and bar. Featuring Flats (our take on naan bread pizza) and Taps (30 different beers on tap) as the staple the restaurant. Central Flats & Taps also offers fresh salads, baked wings, grilled paninis and more. We promise that our food is fresh, as there is not even a freezer on the premises for frozen food. Thirsty? Then try one of our 30 beers on tap. One is sure to find a beer they like on draft and they are continuously rotating to offer the latest seasonal and small batch beers, as well. Is beer not you're thing? Well let the bartenders make you one our signature drinks or just tell them what you like and they will create a cocktail catering to your desires. While you are at Central Flats & Taps dine on our award nominated patio on beautiful days and nights. A great place to have a meal or unwind with a drink. Cheers!!!

I had a great time at xyz. everyone was very nice. great atmosphere, it doesn't matter if your gay or strait. nice with no fighting Bs. can't wait to go again!

Just tried this place almost a month ago and loved it. Good girls good times. 18 and up all night BYOB. Security comes around a few times everynight ensuring no underage drinking or contraband is there. Awesome little spot, emphasis on little. The only problem is it can get crowded easy due to size, although I'm not complaining.

I have been coming to Cotton Eyed Joe since it opened. I have always had a good time there. I even feel safe when I go alone. I always park Valet so I don't have to walk far from the door to my car. Gingi and the staff there have always treated me and my friends with respect. I love the DJ and the Dance Instructors. The Bar staff are real nice and give fast service. I love going to Cotton and would recommend that everyone hit the dance floor.

Food quality not up to prices charged. Had a club sandwich which was not a club, it was a regular sandwich with some kind of indescribable meat in it. It was supposed to be ham and turkey. Yes, there was turkey but the weirdest looking ham I have ever seen, even the waiter couldn't tell me what kind of meat it was.\r My husband said he has had other $8.00 burgers that were much better, said he would rather have gone to Aubrey's. Only putting a rating because it is required.

What a great place to hang your hat for an evening. They've got a great beer and cocktail selection and their menu is short and sweet but everything I've tried has been delicious. The creative design makes you want to hang out and take it all in.

I have hung out here several times in Old City Knoxville. Yes, it's a British Pub, but it's not over the top and overdone. Throw in a bunch of TVs and a nice patio out back and you've got the recipe for an afternoon/evening of fun.
