Handy Man Connection
A couple of years ago I contacted Handyman Connection to do some repairs. The ceiling where a skylight had once been was the major issue- after the 2011 hail storms in our area- Roofers sealed up and roof over exterior , but interior I cleaned and lived with until able to have a professional repair- Believe you me these are no professionals - The worker ceiled up the existing hole with plywood - Until I put my home on the market this year- I did not realize what a big mistake he had made- Drywall should have been installed- there is no way for popcorn ceiling to conceal this area- Which to buyers looks like a big roofing issues- I believe that they did this because I was a woman alone, and knew no better- I was even charged for the time he had taken to go to Home Depot and purchase- after I was given an in home estimate- DO NOT FOOL WITH THESE NON- PROFESSIONALS- He actually had to read the directions to replace a toilet handle and the flushing mechanism - I was also charged for his labor hours for this- This company is no more than a sub-contractor and does not hire professionals- They make a lot of money at the expensive of unsuspecting homeowners- Especially Women-

I have been dealing with Hunley Turner for several years now and I can tell you that in my opinion, everyone there especially Mike Hamilton is very professional, kind and considerate. They have always strived to make an otherwise awful situation into a pleasant one. I will continue to refer by family and friends to this business and I would highly recommend them to anyone reading this review. Thank you all who work there and God bless y'all.Debbie Davis with Be The Example Ministry..

I went in to purchase a refrigerator. I told the sales lady I had a 36 inch opening. She sold me a refrigerator that would fit in that space. I used my debit card which is like paying cash. They came out to install it and it did not fit in the opening.I decided I wanted a refund and they kept almost $100 of my money. I do not feel I should've paid for the delivery because she gave me false information

The Appliance Doctor
My drier just stopped working last Friday. I did the usual "investigations" (courtesy the internet/youtube/forums) - i.e. checking the fuses, wires, cleaning out the ducts, etc - but nothing seemed to work. Then I called up The Applicance Doctor (aka Phil) and he came over to investigate my drier. Within no time, he had it back up and running. What a relief!! One second I'm considering buying a new drier ... And the next - thanks to Phil - I didn't have to ... I'm a happy camper!Would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs help troubleshooting/fixing their appliances.

Just found the "doc" and was glad I did. Dryer gave out and he saved me a lot of $$ versus buying a new one. Works good as new. Great job!

Purchased a washer and dryer price was ok paid extra for the delivery . Guy that deliverd set was friendly and on time . Had problems with washer after first week . I called because they give a 90 day warranty with everything they sell . Guy came out took care of the problem . Next week had problems with the dryer . So I called they sent someone out to pick it up and fix it . It took about a week to have it fixed which was a inconvenience but I did buy used . I have had washer and dryer for 6 months and have had no problems . Customer Service could be alot better but overall we are happy with the washer and dryer purchased .

Have been buying appliances from Hunley Turner for nearly two decades and have never been disappointed. Good, honest people! Very reasonable prices.
Tips & Advices
Water leakage is usually caused by a blockage of the defrost drain by food or debris. The ensuing overflow can leak inside the refrigerator or outside. This problem is often an easy DIY fix--just clean the debris away. If you cannot locate it, it could be a clog of the system and might require a technician.
The most common cause of a refrigerator running is a faulty seal, usually on the door, allowing a constant flow of warm, humid air into the unit. To combat the warm air, the refrigerator’s cooling system kicks in and might stay on. This can cause strain on the cooling unit, not to mention higher utility bills.
The most common reason an ice maker stops making ice is a faulty water supply line. The most likely culprits are the supply line being frozen, broken, disconnected, or the filter being clogged, which prevents water from passing through.
The most common refrigerator maintenance issue is the most obvious: The refrigerator isn’t cold enough. Next is a faulty ice maker, the refrigerator not functioning at all, the unit is making strange noises, and the dispenser units are not dispensing water and/or ice.
Frost buildup in the freezer is a result of warm, humid air entering the freezer and then freezing. It could be as simple as frequent opening and closing of the door, or a faulty door seal allowing air to flow in. If those are not the issues, the automatic defrost system might be malfunctioning and require servicing.
