The service was great, the price was great, and the tires I picked up were great! I have a Pacifica with odd sized rims. I didn't think I would even find used tires for it. The rep at this place searched for about 30 minutes for my tires. Even after he found the right size, he kept searching for the best quality. I came out with two tires that were the same brand, and nearly the same amount of tread as my other two tires I bought new last year. Instead of $500 for two new tires I spent $60 total for two tires mounted and balanced! This was an awesome find! I'd go back to Llantera Inestroza in a heartbeat, and I recommend them to anyone.

Matlock Tire Service
I had hit a curb and knocked my car out of alignment, they were very nice at Matlock and told me about a coupon in the phonebook I could use. I brought my car to them and used the coupon (still cost $100 though!). When I got the car back it was still pulling bad and I didn't have time to bring it back. It ruined my front tires. I left a message on their website about it and Mr.Matlock called me. They fixed the alignment and are going to give me a discount on a new set of tires. They went above and beyond to rectify their mistake! Thanks Mr.Matlock!

Went to all the tire places in the area and none of them had my tires in stock because apparently they're uncommon. Came here because I had heard they did a good job and that the owner was very nice, came here expecting to be disappointed like every other place but they had my tire in stock. Very nice and helpful and had the job done in 30 minutes. This place deserves more credit!!

Great! After calling every used tire place in town, found my tires here and for less than most of the others. One place wanted to sell me used tires the wrong size for $400. Glad I stopped by here and asked. I got a get pair with pretty good tread and good brand for $60! Can't beat that! And the gentlemen working there were more than helpful and nice.

Po-Boys Used Tires 2
I needed a blower motor resister installed. It goes under the dash. I saw it done on You-Tube, it took less than 10 minutes. Nat'l on Clinton Hwy. quoted me $85.00, another place said $90.00 to install. Po-Boys did it for me for $10.00 ! ! ! This will be my "go-to" place from now on. I highly recommend them.

Not bad for the type of services offered here. If you are looking for a used tire for less this is the place. Doesn't have the greatest amount of tread, but for the price you can't beat it.

Affordable Used Tires
Nice job! They were courteous and polite. They worked fast, and did a very nice job. I was in and out in no time, and they were pretty busy too.

Kings Tire
David is excellent. He repaired my car several times. He did a great job and costs less. Low cost alternative and Firestone is really rip off.

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.
