Central Florida Primary Physicians
My overall and specific review of this clinic. I chose this place because I have insurance now and it's close and I don't have to wait months for an appointment. I didn't see Dr. Velasco because he has other doctors in the clinic. I saw Dr. Cordova, he was very caring and pleasant, answered my questions and showed concerned. Sent me to labs, the ladies at the front are pleasant but on my first day they didn't even say hi, I signed in and I was the one that had to ask them about the kind of paperwork I needed as a new patient. The floors honestly look like they don't clean them. The TV sucks, stops and goes. The wait time is long. I had an appointment at a certain time got there early, someone got there after my appointment and they got seen first. That I didn't like. I also didn't like the fact that I had to wait so long for someone to do labs when I saw the person who does the labs just talking to the receptionist and going back and forth. However when I did get the lab the girl was very good with her phlebotomy skills, I'm not scared of needles but she was very careful and it was virtually painless. I think the receptionist should be able to tell you, if you call for an appointment to see Dr. Velasco that you are not going to see that doctor on the day of your appointment. it's common courtesy. But I do like the place overall.

Kidsville Pediatrics II
I went in that office many times, very clean, modern equipment and good location. But don't expect polite treatment...no good morning, no smiles, you need speak loud and first to get attention from the Puerto Rican front desk and nurses...very rude, they seem like making you a favor. If you look poor or dark skin will be worse. You will feel humiliated until you see the doctors...at least them are very professional and courteous....Please it's not only me, all my neighborhood and many friends share my criteria. Please we pay the service...we expect better customer service. Thank you.

Dr. Frank Joseph Stone, MD
I have been using Celebration Family Care for 12 years and have always found them to be very professional and friendly. When I have called with a problem or concern they have either made an appointment for me or called me back with an ansewer.Dr. Wurst is my primary and I find him to be very concerned and through. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. My dealings with Dr. Stone or the medical assitants have also been professional and friendly.I will stay with them as long as they will have me.

Hartman John R MD & Associates
Dr Hartman is a great doctor. He has been ranked as a top 10 physician in Florida and his skill and manner are above reproach. He has been my Doctor for nearly 20 years and I have never had any concern about a diagnoses he has given me. He is a general physician as well as a baby doctor and many of our friends have used him to deliver their children.

Dr. Littel is great. The office staff are friendly and helpful. They are flexible and can often work you in right away if you are not doing well. They are very helpful and understanding of your situation. The office environment is very professional but also has a personal touch.

Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
