I love stopping in for soup salad and breadsticks. It's excellent and very affordable. This is where I have most of my lunch meetings. Its a bit generic but the staff makes up for it. I love this location!

My wife and I recently dined at Cafe Juanita for our anniversary. As always, the food was innovative and expertly prepared, and the service was friendly and efficient. In my 12 years of living in Seattle, I haven't eaten at a better local restaurant. The food comes first here. The atmosphere is elegant, but understated, relaxed, and unpretentious. It is like having an intimate dinner at a good friend's home (who happens to be an award winning chef). The entrees are all bold and innovative, but they also do the little things well, like the homemade flatbreads, the salads (the baby beet and almond butter salad is amazing), even the house aperitif list is fun - each coming with a bite-sized appetizer. It is a spendy restaurant. With drinks, wine, desert, and coffee, our bill topped $200, but nothing here is ordinary. If you love food, you will not regret the splurge. \r \r If trendy presentation is more important to you than flavor, and you prefer a room full of poseurs, wait staff who try to upsell you on everything, and a feeling you are being processed like a credit card number, there are plenty of places in Belltown or Bellevue that will suit you better. I find that Seattle has many good restaurants, but very few great ones. I am disappointed in my local fine dining experiences far more often than I am impressed. This place is great. The only downside is the 40 min drive to Kirkland from my house. Otherwise I'd eat here far more often.

My personal experience of the cuisine offered at the Crab Cracker is that of excellence.....True seafood dishes prepared with such extraordinary freshness and presentation. This is THE place for lasting impressions of fantastic food. I often bring friends or business partners to the Crab Cracker for a relaxing and refreshing meal that is a sure hit every time. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of using the catering arm of the Crab Cracker, Epicurean Catering, with equally pleasing results.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Not only do they have phenomenal Thai food, but they also have a warm and pleasant decor and terrific customer service. As a relatively new but very frequent customer, the people there who have come to know me by name always warmly welcome me and ask me how I am. They even remember and know my favorite things to order and special ways I enjoy certain items being prepared. They have the best Pad See Eew on the Eastside, topped with amazing spring rolls, delicious and rich red curry, and wonderful homemade lemonade. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. They're laid back but still a very nice place to have a business lunch or a sweet dinner for two. They combine the best of both worlds--great service and great food!

We finally found a Mexican restaurant in Kirkland that we keep returning to. We're not experts on the cuisine, but we've been eating it for a while and know what we like. We like this. So far, enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and steak chicana have been sampled. Everything comes out fresh and tasty. There is cheese and sauce, but it's not used to camouflage what's under it, like some places do. We will be back again soon.

Hard to believe Seattle's best traditional sushi restaurant is in a strip mall in Totem Lake! But it's true! Izumi is a gem. Absolutely everything on the menu is prepared beautifully according to Japanese tradition. You won't find absurd rolls here, the American crap-on-top-of-a-fried-cali-roll nonsense that seems to be everywhere these days. Just beautiful cuts of sashimi, perfectly prepared cooked entrees, traditional noodle dishes. Oh my word, it's just so good!

Went for dinner on a Saturday night, quite the popular place. They are decorated with a myriad of Italian motorist memorabilia. I had the Criola, a cajun chicken & sausage pasta with a marinara - it was excellent (ample portion, lots of meat, and just the right level of spicy). The service was busy, but quick and very friendly.

My husband and I just went there for the first time and it was better than we thought it would be! The service was fast and the food was perfect and delicious! (and I usually can find something to complain about) The portions were slightly large but that isn't a problem! Well worth the price, we definitely will come back soon

I am a huge fan and have been going to George's since it opened in the 70s. The business has evolved and kept up with the changes that have influenced Kirkland but still maintains the kind inclusive spirit representative of the founder. I will remain a faithful customer.

Best Italian Food on the Eastside! This place is less than five minutes from my condo. I remember when I first went here (four years ago). I was thinking: ""This place has potential"". And now: Great place to kick back, watch sports on the Big Screen TV, also, if enjoy it....KARAOKE! They host karaoke here four nights/week: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. The Show Starts @ 9:30pm and ends at closing time (1:30am). I've never heard the singers and music sound so crisp! You'd think you were listening to a Production! The majority of the karaoke singers here are REALLY good. When you get up to sing, the DJ's make you sound REALLY good (alomst like you're doing a performance). The Library of songs is quite diverse - over 70,000 songs (updated monthly). Don't let the good singers (some just AMAZING...VERN!) make you feel out of place. The regulars and the crowd here are very warm and supportive. Even if Singing isn't your speciality, don't worry! On a busy night, more than half the customers there just come to LISTEN.\r Drop By After Work! You won't be sorry...you'll be hooked.\r Also, On the the DJs there (DJ Baldie) will have these 'Theme Rounds"" where the topic could be: Country, with a twist - Guys sing girls songs, and girls sing guy's songs! (That was funny!!!) The Theme rounds are never the same - he also has something ingenous planned. The Weekends are CRAZY - I know you'll have fun. Doesn't hurt to try!

I've had multiple meals at Lucia's now and have been well satisfied every experience. I was always greeted with friendly and speedy service. On top of the very reasonable pricing for their food, the food itself is very well done. Their bruschetta is amazing for an appetizer. They have a salmon dish for an entree that was cooked to perfection. Flaky, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Their fruit tart is incredibly generously portioned with plenty of fresh berries served piping hot from the kitchen. During your wait for your food, you can sit back and enjoy their delicious foccocia bread serviced with a basalmic vinegar dipping sauce, and sit back and often enjoy a black and white film they play on one of their walls. I would HIGHLY recommend Lucia's to anybody, and would encourage people to take advantage of when Lucia's partakes in the Urban Eats special running where there is a full 3 course meal for just $30! I have been very satisfied with every experience I have had at Lucia's and they will continue to have me and my family's business for years to come. Keep up the good work Lucia's!

The food is excellent and the waitstaff is always very friendly. There are times I have been there when the food has taken a while, but it has always been when they are extremely busy (they seem to have a fairly small kitchen, so it is not surprising they would get a little backed-up when they get busy). If you are in a rush to get in and out, you probably don't want to go there on a Friday or Saturday. Ordering the green beans as an appetizer is a must! We haven't had a bad meal yet and we eat there at least 2-3 times per month.

I have lived in Seattle for 10 years and have eaten alot of teriyaki, but I only discovered this little gem last weekend. Alot of places use low-quality meat and then try to cover it up with sauce. The chicken at Teriyaki Madness is exceptional, moist and grilled to perfection! The teriyaki sauce is thick and sweet but not overly sweet. You can't beat the house special, which is chicken teriyaki with double the rice and meat for $6.29! It's big enough for two or to save some for lunch the next day. Kudos to Teriyaki Madness!

I have been hopping from Thai restaurant to Thai restaurant comparing Pad Thai dishes, I have never come across a necessarily bad dish, but definitely some that I would not revisit. But oh what a delight to have found the Pad Thai at Tommy Thai's! At first bite that delicate balance of savory/sweet/sour/spice were in perfect harmony, it is not too greasy, not too salty. The crunch of the chopped nuts on top combined with the softness of the noodles, the perfectly tender chicken, some onion and spouts, make for a heavenly combination. To satisfy four of the taste senses perfectly and harmoniously, (which the perfect Pad Thai must do), requires a great skill indeed. The restaurant is in a small strip mall off of Rosehill, but don't let the location fool you, the staff are wonderful, the prices are great, and oh, did I mention the Pad Thai?

Although I am new the area of Kirkland, I am amazed at the astonishing view of Lake Washington with a beautiful marina below. When I recently visited Anthony?s Home Port of Kirkland, I did have some expectations but I had no idea just how pleasant my dinning experience would be. I now know that you don?t have to have a love of water or seafood to enjoy yourself at Anthony?s

Spuds Fish and Chips is a great place to get lunch and, when the weather is nice, take it to Juanita Beach Park right across the street and eat it there. Delicious battered cod and fries reminds me of the fish and chips drive in we used to go to when I was a kid.
