I went in to get my first tattoo in August and it was a great experience. My artist was the highly recommended Rob Johnson and not only did he do a beautiful job, he was also very patient while I took a few extra minutes to reconsider my placement after he suggested that I might not want to get my first tattoo on my ribs. What was most impressive, however, was the aftercare process he recommended. It differed from what I'd read on the internet and what many other people had told me, but my tattoo healed very quickly and there was no fading and no white spots as I'd seen on the tattoos of my friends who went to other studios in the area. Going back in this weekend to get my nipples pierced and I'm very confident

I friend of mine took me to JR's because her boyfriend got his tattoos done there and I'm so happy she did. So far I've gotten three tattoos there. A cover up of a old tattoo I've hated since i was 16 and two more., a butterfly fly with flowers and a picture of my grandma. They're so nice. They always take time to talk with me about what a want and if they don't have it they just draw it up. Can't say enough good things. Everybody should go here:)

Got my first micro-dermal near my eye last August at the Warrior (never returning there agin) and there wasn't any privacy considering that there's only one chair next to the piercing display case (great opportunity to showcase your twitching if you're getting your first piercing here). I asked the employee to pierce as close but as safely (I emphasized that part) to my eye. Piercing seemed fine until a few months later in March I wanted the dermal top changed (piercing was considerably healed by this time if not fully), when I went back the piercer struggled for a while since it was stuck, and immediately after the dermal top change I noticed that one end of the dermal started poking forward a bit, this continued even though I kept a band-aid on to try to keep the dermal settled down into the tissue again, eventually after about a month and a half the end of the dermal started to poke out of my skin. After getting checked out and having the dermal removed (not at the Warrior) I found out that the metal of the dermal was cheap as well as my first dermal top, and the second which was plastic was of also bad quality. I also found out that the piercing was entirely too close to my eye despite my insisting that I preferred safety over aesthetics. In a nutshell: uncomfortable environment and cheap jewelry. The employee at Infinite removed my dermal for free and explained how the jewelry was not up to par and that the piercing placement was unsafe. He was honest, professional and explained every step and action before he proceeded. The place was clean, there was privacy, and a broader selection on jewelry. I will definitely come here again for any future piercings.

Beware of the Lang klinic or Institute ,(what ever their real name is) they are not licensed by the Philadelphia Health dept to do permanent makeup , but they are still doing it . if any one is considering going for permanent makeup here call the Health dept and ask about their licensing status . You might even want to call the city hall to see if Lang Klinic is a legitimate registered business. They even claim to have multiple offices and this is false.PUBLIC BEWARE

this is by far the best shop in the area, for price AND quality. these guys treat you with respect and try to make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the doors. and youll always leave happy. they stand out in that was from other shops in the area that just want your money and just want you in and out the door. and the prices are amazing for what they are putting out. the piercings as well as the tattoos are great. i heard the artist also does airbrushing for bikes and stuff too, which is CRAZY. and hes an actual artist, like he can draw you whatever you want. the piercer is also great, he will give you a clean, well placed beautiful piercing. the place is very clean and even family friendly. although kids arent encouraged theyre welcome. they also dont judge you like some other shops will do. FullMetal is an all around great place!!!!! i highly reccomend them. just so you dont get lost and go to Studio One around the corner...its down a little side street off chester pike in Norwood right next to a deli. just look for the signs that say FULLMETAL!!!!!

I got my first tattoo done there by a guy named Shawn. It was a pretty large lower back tattoo (no, it's not a tramp stamp) and he did a fantastic job. I've recommended him to several of my friends and co-workers, many of them ended up going to him for their tattoos. He's very patient but still manages to make it as quick and comfortable of an experience as possible. They're also very sanitary and have pretty decent prices. I paid $230 for a 2 1/2 hour back piece with color. \r \r The place is called Moo Tattoo, it's across the hall from Warrior, also upstairs. Be sure to make an appointment, they're always busy!!
