Shaper's Salon
I first met Karen in February 2008 as I was looking for a stylist to do my hair for my up coming wedding in March. Karen rocked it out of the park she helped get my hair healthy and shine and looking wonderful by my wedding. I have continued to go to Karen ever since. She has become a great friend to me and I love her work. She is wonderful with my daughter and has wonderful skills all around. Her color skills are wonderful, the color last for a long time which makes life easier for me. I enjoy the salon's atmosphere as it is relaxing quite and peaceful, which is what is needed for getting away and pampering oneself. Karen thnk for the years we have had and for the ones to come.

Shaper's Salon
I first met Karen of Shaper's Salon about 18 years ago. I had long curly hair. It was very unruly and I was terrified about letting anyone try to tame it. I had moved here from another state and had no choice but to find a new hairdresser. Well to make a long story very short, after 18 years Karen knows my hair and makes me look young and beautiful every time. We are now very good friends. She is a "God send" in so many ways. She ALWAYS pleases her clients. Go meet this wonderful hairstylist and amazing lady, you will have her for life with 0 regrets. PS No she did not pay me to say all this. Every word is truth and every visit is wonderful.

Fancy Paws Pet Salon
To Eddie H we just found this review a wanted to address the issue We found out the bather was saying and telling client he was the groomer when the owner wasn't here. As soon as that issue was found out he was terminated. We pride ourselves in doing the best job that can be done and what the client wants. If we had known about this situation we would have taken care of it

Kernersville RT 66 Diner
It's hit and miss! We went two mornings in a row. First time was excellent! Second time we waited for almost an hour for two BEC sandwiches and hashbrowns. All the while there were kids running around clapping and squeeling the WHOLE time! Mainly poor parenting but it was torture. Not to mention it was cold enough in there to hang meat! Come on Jake get some consistency!!

Shaper's Salon
Karen highlighted and cut my hair and I walked out of her salon a very happy person. Her knowledge of color and products is very impressive. After all the years of not being satisfied with my color, she got it right on the first try and I loved the cut. She’s got my business from here on out.

Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
