YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

This is my local theater closest to Work. I have gone here many times no issues.\r \r A note to the post above, if you use a Cedit or Debit card at this theater, for some reason the Card Company, NOT THE THEATER, places a hold for double the amount of the ticket(s). I noticed this once and gave them a call. The manager explained what was going on and I checked it when it finally posted and it was for the correct amount. \r \r P.S. > Your ticket stub and a copy of the bank statement (after the charge has completed, usually 3-4 biz days) will work instead of a receipt.

After reading some of the reveiws on here I was a little nervous to visit this place. I have to say that I actually have had a great time visit after visit. I have now made this my place to watch movies every time I can. My family and I are big movie buffs so watching these often and a budget can be hard. I am not sure if there was a change in ownership or management but the theater always looks clean and smells great. The popcorn is REALLY good and they kids working there do not mind putting butter in the middle and offer trays to share. The staff here is very nice and polite. In the beggining I did pay extra attention to the seats to avoid any possible stains on my clothes, but they looked clean and have stayed that way. Based on my expericences here I think Brassfield may have come a long way since the last reviews and deserves a second chance.
5.The Grand 18 - Winston Salem

My favorite theatre in Winston-Salem! The Grand is a newer theatre and is very well run and maintained. Larger number of auditoriums = less overcrowding. Great selection of concessions.

While this business seems to pack in the people with some great events, the staff are rude and discourteous . Given conflicting information from staff and the person answering emails. Inquiring about events is met with vague geek-speak - and no clear answers to questions posted.

When my son was young, he attended this theatre and performed there several times. I have always been inspired at the way in which these two gentle souls can handle 100 or more elementary children, get them in costumes, and teach them so much in so little time. They have to deal with whiny disrespectful children who have obviously been coddled and allowed to do as they wish. While they try to work with these spoiled children, these women choose to look beyond those who attempt to disrupt everyone, with the hope of reaching those who really have an interest. I applaud their efforts and patience, as well as their amazing talents!
