The Gumprecht Law Firm
My wife and I were in two bad accidents earlier this year in Bartow County and we hired Michael to work on both of the cases. Even when the car insurance companies were pointing fingers at each other for causing our injuries Michael personally stayed on top of both cases at the same time and worked on them both until they both settled for a great outcome. He never got burnt out or gave up, he followed through until they were both closed and made great payments to us. Top service and quick response time too. Thank you to Michael and the Gumprecht Law Firm.

My brother was hit by a drunk driver in Cartersville who ran from the scene until the police arrested him. We hired Michael to go after his insurance company, but they refused to settle for their policy limits. Michael documented their bad faith behavior so thoroughly that when a lawsuit was filed the insurance company was forced to pay DOUBLE THEIR POLICY VALUE just to cover for their bad faith behavior! WOW WHAT AN OUTCOME!! We found the BEST INJURY LAWYER in Georgia with Michael! SO MANY THANKS!!

I was hit by a driver who fled the scene, when they arrested him at his house turns out he was drunk as well. I hired Michael and he handled absolutely everything perfectly. When the insurance company got tough Michael got tougher with a big lawsuit. The case settled with an amazing result and I highly suggest you call The Gumprecht Law Firm if you’re ever in a similar situation!!!

Michael represented me after a DUI driver hit me in and fled the scene. The police found him in Dallas holed up behind his gate and arrested him, but his insurance company didn’t care about an injury settlement on the civil case until Michael got involved. Once he filed a lawsuit they settled so quickly it was amazing how much they feared what Michael was capable of. Thank you for the awesome representation and great outcome

Michael’s the best injury attorney around. I was rearended by a DUI driver in Canton and his deadbeat insurance company gave me the runaround. Michael filed a lawsuit and won the case on my behalf, and I am so happy. He did a great job and I could always reach him. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I live in Savannah and was in a motorcycle accident last year, I was taken to the VA for skin grafts and painful surgery. Since the army paid for my medical I wasn't sure what kind of case I had against the other driver. I found Michael Gumprecht and hired him for my case. After I signed I didn't have to worry about anything, his team gathered all of the evidence and Michael presented the case on my behalf. He won a six figure settlement and now the case is closed without going to trial. I'm very happy with the service and recommend this firm in your time of need.

Last year in Gwinnett County I was t-boned in an intersection on Buford Drive by a lady who ran a red light. I eventually had traumatic carpal tunnel surgery because I gripped the steering wheel so hard when she hit me. It was a huge impact and my dog was seriously injured in the wreck too, but her insurance company fought me on EVERYTHING. First they didn't want to pay fairly for my car, then they didn't want to pay for my dog's surgery, and they definitely didn't believe my wrist surgery was accident related. Once I hired Michael Gumprecht things began to change. He got them to pay for the car and then for my dog. When they kept fighting my injury, he filed a lawsuit and exposed the insurance company's bad faith behavior. When he deposed the lady driver under oath, turns out her insurance company never consulted with her over the multiple settlement opportunities we had given them! Michael held their feet to the fire and built enough pressure before trial to make them settle. It was amazing to see an insurance company fight so hard, but Michael never gave up and me and my family are all very happy with the result. Thank you for the hard work!

Last year my son was riding passenger and broke his arm in a horrible head on collision. I didn't know who to trust but I knew my son needed an attorney. At first it looked like there was minimal coverage, but Michael Gumprecht worked very hard to find multiple insurance policies. It was six figures when combined and Michael got them all paid out!! He was so professional, a huge help and always available. This is a tremendous blessing for our family so I thank you for your hard work! This is an excellent law firm and attorney.

My wife and I were driving on Barrett Lakes in Cobb County when another driver suddenly pulled out in front of us from a side road. Our newborn son and 2 year old son were in the back seat, and the impact was so large that it sent us off the road and into a tree. Our car was totally destroyed but we were so grateful to have come out alive. Unfortunately we were hurt, and after the ER treated with a chiropractor for 6 months on our own. My wife still had pain in her knee that wouldn't go away, and I was having spine issues of my own so we kept hearing that we needed to hire a lawyer. We'd never done this before and didn't know what to expect, but Michael Gumprecht came highly recommended and after I first spoke to him I felt safe trusting our family's best interests to him. Ultimately my wife needed surgery on her knee and Michael made sure it we didn't have to come out of pocket when the case was still open and we were still treating. And in the end, when the insurance company didn't take us seriously he filed a lawsuit and won us an amount many, many times larger than we could have ever dreamed for. I now know how important it is to not only hire a lawyer after a big accident, but to hire the right one - and Michael Gumprecht is exactly who you should call. He always returned our calls, answered our questions and fought hard to win us a big outcome far beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you so much for taking care of us Michael!

Do you know the type of business man William Gilmer is?In June 2015 William Gilmer had a HVAC business listed as Atmos LLC.I had Gilmer install a new heat pump by Lennox June 2015.The heat pump stopped working Nov 2015.I called the phone number for Atmos LLC and got a recording saying the number is no longer in service. Through searching I did find Gilmer’s cellphone number. I called his cell number and after leaving messages two times he text me and left the following message (which I’ve saved): “Ms Peacock, I no longer work for Atmos. You will need to contact Atmos in regards to any warranty issues. Please do not continue to contact my current employment.”As previously stated the number for Atmos was no longer in service. Furthermore, Gilmer was Atmos. I had to call another technician to have the whole thing redone and done correctly. It cost me $1,170.The technician that redid the system said that the reasons for your system not cooling or heating properly is:The return filter grill is too small and duct is too small. It appears that someone cut holes in the return duct to relieve the pressure on the system which is drawing air in from under the house.Heat strips have never been wired or connected properly, The Flashing from the equipment to the house is installed incorrectly and is not sealed. The drain is installed incorrectly; no trap was installed and will not drain properly. The problems you are having are not the fault of the equipment; the fault is how the system was installed.Gilmer put a 14 in exchange and my size unit requires a 14 X 20 in. which says plainly in the manual. To compensate he literally cut holes in my duck work under my house. Insects and even snakes could have entered my house through the floor vents. Here is a picture of where Gilmer cut holes in the ducts.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
