Petland Kennesaw
I've been in Petland many times before. The staff is always SUPER friendly, very helpful, and always encouraging you to hold and play with a puppy! Having no intentions to buy a one, I already have two, I went in and ended up falling in love with a boxer. A few days later, I couldn't stop thinking about him, so I sent an email through their website. i actually received a call from one of the owners the same day. I was very impressed.

I have gotten a puppy and a year later a kitten from the Kennesaw locations. I am so grateful to have them. They both are beautiful pets and social. I have done rescue pets and muts. I would rather have a breed. Sorry folks that think it is wrong to breed. This business is a service to the community and I love the staff/

Petland is one of the cleanest pet stores I have ever been to. For example if one of the animals goes to the bathroom it is immediatly cleaned. The animals there are very friendly and well taken care of! Everytime I visit on the weekend there is a vet there checking on the animals health and well being.

Extremely pleased with our experience today. I have never purchased a pet from a pet store. After speaking with the staff I knew we were making the right decision. Kudos for a great business model. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our new pets will be taken care of.

Thanks so much for helping us with our 5pm Friday call for help. Your staff is excellent. Mike was over and really quickly diagnosed the issue and was so pleasant and professional. Of course, we recognize that you pushed us up on the list and we really appreciate it.

most knowledgeable staff ever, and sharp, clean surroundings. individual 'get to play' areas.( a bit overwhelming on a busy Saturday. )ONLY THING I' D CHANGE... wish there had been a place to sit down with staff to complete the many papers and info at purchase.

Knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and anticipated some too. Helped on what I needed to start him off at home - very personable. Listened to her advice and felt she was pleasant to be around. Sweet person!

Before I purchased my puppy from Petland, I asked a lot of questions and I received information on her breeder before I made the purchase. I felt comfortable and considered myself a very informed consumer.
Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
